"I enjoy the music she made in the 60's but when she posted a comment on engineers I voiced my opinion that the mid 70's to early 80's were the pinnacle of recording because of the 24-track two inch tape and the idea of the 'concept album'. I mentioned "Aja", "Goucho", "Breakfast in America", "Back In Black", "Dark Side of the Moon", "Animals", "Rumors", etc. She said she didn't like that "music" -- too many drugs involved in the making.

Post went downhill from there.... but come on, how can any reasonable musician deny the greatness of at least some of the albums mentioned above?..."

The song breakfast in America had a clue, he wanted to "take a jumbo across the water, like to see America, see the girls in California".

All British except for the drummer. But they recorded "Even in The Quietest Moments" in Colorado and "Breakfast In America" in Los Angeles so they bloody well stopped being British in the mid-70s.

I always loved the old man on the cover of Kansas Leftoverture. Some others are Supertramp's Breakfast in America, the Pulp Ficton soundtrack, and I love ALL of Boston's, Journey's and ELO album covers. Yeah, they're sorta trans am drivin rednecky.. but what can I say? I never said I was cultured
