On the one hand, I don't really care. I think that everybody should pursue and practice their religious beliefs as they see fit.

Maybe not Dawkins / DNA specifically, but I find science far more interesting than any religious story. I've always been awestruck when considering the scale and complexity of the universe, the unimaginably slow movements of galaxies colliding, the strangeness of things close to absolute zero, etc etc etc. Religion is either largely or entirely composed of made up stories about people doing stuff.

For the record, i never said what you accused me of saying. I was putting up conjecture based on what i thought to be true, to be answered by someone more informed than myself, and if i gave any other impression then i apologise.

I thought that was pretty clear from the qualification at the end - it IS just a matter of opinion, because since my first post on this video, i have asked 2 christians and been told that yes, it is a matter of opinion, and some would say that changing a detail of christianity would no longer be christianity, you don't get to pick and choose. As a Christian I find the words of this woman offensive. Beware of politician who use the name God to gain an advantage. Did she ever learned the 10 commandments?

"You shall not make wrongful use of the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not acquit anyone who misuses his name."

This commandment prohibits not just swearing but also the misappropriation of religious language in order to commit a crime, participating in occult practices, and blaspheming against places or people that are holy to God.
