Colbert Interviews Eleanor Holmes Norton
I usually avoid posting items from Colbert or Daily Show, since those shows have so many notable clips they should have their own repository. However, once in a while there are items that stand out and deserve some extra attention. My last posting from the show was such a case (Colbert responding to MSM uproar on Wexler, http://www.videosift.com/story.php?id=6372).
This posting is a lot of fun, one of the better "Better Know a Districts" -- Ms. Horton holds her own against Stephen, and they both seem to get into it. It's always amazing to me how the show hits just the right spot -- it brings up salient political issues and satirizes the absurdities with just the right balance of gravitas and levity.
