Pissed-off Cat attacks and terrorizes Pacifist Rottweiler

nadabu says...

We used to have a calico who would go berzerk after any dogs who came onto our property whenever she had kittens (which was often, cause she had gorgeous kittens that people loved). We lived at the edge of the city and always had 2 or 3 pet cats. She was always one of those 2 or 3, despite the others regularly "disappearing" (read: eaten by coyotes). She was, quite literally, one tough mother. I saw her once chase off a big yellow lab from down the street, who i know for a fact was not a coward. But again, that was only when she had kittens. Once her babies were gone, she'd just avoid the dogs.

I'm guessing that cat is a female with a litter nearby.

Hmm.. I didn't go berzerk yet....

oh wait, choggie said postal, hah hah. Indeed.

Anyway,
1. Getting to be an Internet celebrity chef.
2. Whenever anybody tells me about about a video they saw on the Internet, I've already seen it, because it was on the top 15 three weeks ago.
3. The personalities here. Meeting people like farhad, choggie, and others.
4. The people that I haven't really gotten to know yet, who I think I would get along really well with, like issykitty, mink, eklek, bicyclerepairman, and SO many others.
5. Getting on Siftbot's good side for the singularity.

No, it's not you. I see it, too.

Glad we're on the same page. I was worried and felt bad.

I can kind of go berzerk sometimes.

In reply to this comment by Zonbie:
I figured that had happened - hopefully I edited it so I no longer look like a bigoted idiotic racist selfish fool.

I forgive you - hehe - but you reaction was pretty much mine, wtf are these people thinking? And is still only me who finds it sad when people try to put Obama as 'Communist' he wants a fairs system in the US?

In reply to this comment by rougy:
I missed the "Quoted from link" part.

I hope you can forgive me.

You're full of shit, Zonbie.
I can't believe how pissy-pants the cons have become over this.
Talk about reactionary aggrandizement.

What the fuck Rougy - take the time to read my comment properly before you call me out...

Thanks for sharing ThePinky.

This is actually a good discussion - everyone please keep things civil. I've noticed sometimes that when personal revelations come out in a thread - that's the tipping point when things go berzerk. But not on our community.

Clerks - Randall orders Happy Scrappy Hero Pup

X-Men 2 - Magneto Escapes

budzos says...

Yes this was a novel, true-to-canon and apropriately diabolical use of Magneto's mutant powers. This is one of my favourite moments in these movies, but my number one favourite is Wolverine's berzerker rage when the military unit storms Xavier's mansion. The biggest disappointment for me was never seeing Iceman do his ice-ramp trick.

Yes, I remember that too. I was amazed because I thought the graphics looked as good as an Atari 400 game. Eric Mussen disagreed.

I think that Berzerk was present at the same time, which was also a pretty decent translation onto the 2600. Of course they couldn't get the "Destroy the Humanoid" sound on a VCS.

Plastikman - Plastique (Trippy Hypnotic Video)

djsunkid says...

Interesting bit of trivia, one of the reasons that this track is remarkable is that is shows off Richie using his brand new Devilfish modified 303 that was sent to him by the creator in 1994.

Back in the early nineties crazy technoheads in Australia went absolutely berzerk, drilling a dozen tiny holes in the faceplate of their Roland TB303. They hacked the circuitry and more than doubled the number of knobs and switchs. Suddenly the quirky, liquid sound of the TB303 is even more eccentric than ever before.

The 303 is just smoking me . . We've never heard
anything like it . . just freaking out and literally bouncing
off the walls shouting 'Yeah! Yeah! This is what we want! This
is what we want!'"

Then I designed some circuit boards and a front panel so I
could do the modifications properly. The first one was my own
303 - which later went to Richie Hawtin. This is serial number
-001.
from: http://www.firstpr.com.au/rwi/dfish/dfspank.html

That's right, they loved it so much, they sent it to their favourite 303 wizard, Richie Hawtin, AKA Plastikman. The very first, and only one in the world. Serial number -001. Negative One.

This track is what Richie came up with. So hot!

Currently the idea of drilling holes in your 303 is terrifying. They are fetishized and totally collectors items. If you want a devilfish, you have to send your 303 to Australia and pay them to mod yours. They are so hard to find that they have sold for over $1000 on eBay. Sometimes WELL more. And this is for an instrument that has essentially one sound.

...

But what a sound.
