Battle Of Dunkirk Statistics
Yeah, the bombing was pretty heavy, especially since Churchill was expecting the Germans to begin bombing Britain soon so he held the RAF back (for the most part) instead of providing air support.
Although the movie made it seem like the troops and boats were pretty helpless, it HARDLY conveyed the amount of bombing (according to this video) that was being done by the Germans. Good movie though. Constant suspense.

RAF Harrier crash landing in Kandahar
>> ^BoneRemake:
Hahahahahaha, I guess he was making sure the plane was "OK" before ejecting.
why would he take that long to eject ? odd.
He wouldn't let a planet to interrupt his sweet nap.

American Ace Takes on Half the Luftwaffe

My "flight experience" is solely with simulators so devalue my opinions accordingly.
I always found the 262 to be too fast for dogfighting. It was great for hitting bombers which were practically stationary targets, but it was very difficult to get a bead on another fighter before you shot past them.
The P-51 is quite fast and powerful, of course, but not especially maneuverable. USAF craft generally weren't as agile as RAF and Luftwaffe craft, IMO. Of course, by the time the Mustang saw heavy service, the US was on heavy offense. It was necessary to sacrifice some maneuverability in exchange for increased flight range for bombing runs and escorts.
As for the guy at the end stating that the Mustang is the WW2 plane everyone wants to fly, I say "fuck no." Give me a Spitfire XIV any day.
F18 Hornet Extremely Low Flyby
It's neither Harrier or F/A-18 Hornet. It's French Mirage F-1.
It's not a Harrier because there is single drop tank in the middle. Harrier's can't fuel tank in that location because Harriers don't have center pylon. Also, refueling probe is on the wrong side and location.
Harriers also have 3 pylons on each wing (RAF has 4 per wing) This plane only has 1 visible
It's not a Hornet, because Hornets have twin vertical stabilizer.
