Missouri tries to legislate reality away

bcglorf says...

@newtboy,

Last try to get anything resembling a straight answer.

If we pick specifically the 100m race as an event: If the olympics had but a single open category to all sex and genders, do you expect to see biologically female competitors ever making it into qualifying and competition?

Missouri tries to legislate reality away

bcglorf says...

@newtboy,

On average you can agree…

I never said anything against any given pro/competitive female athlete probably beating out plenty of biologically male folks.

I was only pointing to advantages between equally gifted/talented and trained people.

To that point, can you agree that most standing olympic records as currently separated into mens and womens records, indicate that the historical separation based on XX and XY certainly appears to show an advantage. Would you be able to agree following from that, the existence of distinct mens and womens records is because without it, women would be “unfairly” left almost entirely unrepresented in every sprint distance, every lifting record and most other records.

For instance, the Olympic qualifying standard for the mens 100m was 10.05s, while the standing Olympic womens record time for 100m is 10.49s. AKA in absence of a separate competition for biologically female athletes, even the standing Olympic record holding female wouldn’t pass the bar to qualify to compete in the Olympics.

That is the advantage I am stating exists, and matters and I am asking if you acknowledge that distinction existing as a result of biology or not?

LMFAHS!!!
Still no answer?
Still can’t say who she slept with to advance to the second highest elected position in the land besides her husband, who’s not in politics, but you still say she’s a whore who could only sleep her way up because she’s a woman….but you don’t think you’re sexist!?! ROTFLMFAHS,! You utter moron, what do you think “sexist” means?

Elected Attorney General twice, Senator once before being elected VP. How many public offices did Trump hold before president? How many women did he sleep with while married? How many women did he rape? How many children age 13? The answer to three of these questions is not zero.

Compared to your messiah’s abysmal record of failed businesses, various crimes, racism, sexism, rape, theft, pedophilia, tax evasion, bank frauds, and an allergy to the truth and fact, (and now an aversion to democracy) she’s insanely over qualified to be president or VP. Enjoy, she’ll probably be in the whitehouse for the rest of your life.

There isn’t a Republican in office that is elected official material. They’re all anti American, anti democracy terrorists that should be shot in the face as enemies of the state who give aid and comfort to other enemies of America constantly. You know it well, comrade.

I’m guessing we haven’t heard from you for a week because both anonymous and the American cyber warfare division have attacked Putin’s troll farm and you can’t get online.
Hope you like borscht….it’s all there will be left for you.

Edit: lemme guess, Jackson (3 times confirmed by a bipartisan congress) is also unqualified and slept her way to the top of the judicial branch, right? You don’t know how, or with who, but you just know it’s true (because a black woman could never accomplish what she has)….but not because you’re a racist sexist troll….you say that for some other reason you just can’t articulate.
But Barrett, with zero judicial experience before Trump nominated her and obvious overt religious bias that she has let dictate her decisions despite saying she never would, you had no problem with her, right?

bobknight33 said:

racist sexist???

You making her color is racist.

Sexist. I think not.
She is a political whore. Slept with who ever to get her power.

She is not VP material by any measure. You know it .

Republicans are suffering from Partisan Derangement Syndrome

luxintenebris says...

also, some things to think about...

- we have a naturalized Austrian that can directly compare WWII to today's elephant-in-the-room...https://tinyurl.com/2p8zsj9m

- one of the few Republican leaders that speak to the Russian people (not rooting Putin on)...https://videosift.com/video/A-message-to-the-Russian-people

- self-made (seriously made) millionaire*, that was a governor of a large state - enough to qualify as a nation by itself - who is the closest to the template of St. Reagan alive...and he has much disdain for the GOP.

makes the head reel. an Austrian leader speaking out against fascism. another of the 1937 reasons NOT to support the red.

- Irish
- Japanese
- Chinese
- Hawaiians
- native Americans
- African Americans

...and more.*

so it's more a wish than honesty.

how can they give an accounting of any president's administration or trials during their terms? trail of tears, teapot dome, watergate, iran-contra...presidents sleeping w/women not their wives - and even one w/their wife but still adulterous.

but if those who don't want to know can do what the rest of the people in my h.s. did: ignore it and squeak by. then they can qualify to be Republicans.

(btw: wasn't "truth matters: not your tears" a popular refrain recently?)

sure. sometimes i don't want to know...but that should be MY choice and not YOUR'S.

STUDY: $500 Per Month Life Changing For The Homeless

newtboy says...

The real bob stood up.

You aren’t for assistance for the homeless, you insist you should get the same handout, for the same period of time, despite having no need. You just erased the positive comment above I think someone else made using your account.

You know 1/2 or more would use it up early, then need assistance later.

The “strings” are things like prove you applied to at least one job per day AND do community service until you’re employed. Barriers to getting your shit together and, for many, barriers to applying.

Who gets to determine who qualifies as disabled?

Republicans ARE assholes and you have chronic dependence already in the form of tax breaks (to the point of zero taxes) for their businesses, massive corporate welfare outpacing personal welfare exponentially, use of public services despite not paying for them (roads, ports, police, etc).
If you use ANYTHING the government provides but don’t pay taxes (or minimal taxes equating to 5-10%) you are chronically dependent on government welfare. That describes every Republican business owner I’ve ever known, not one wanted to pay a dime to keep his nation healthy if they could possibly avoid it.

bobknight33 said:

I said this before.

In broad terms...

Endless welfare is wrong,
I'm also against 40+ years of Social security- Its a pyramid scheme.

Should be 1 system where all get say 15 years of benefits.
Should be able to take it a monthly amounts.

Should not be able to start collecting till at least 25. This will make you get a job, get skills and become less dependent.

If you 30 and have a kid and want to take 6 months off then deduct it from those 15 years.

if 50 and burned out. take a year off go to school or such and refresh. Deduct that from you 15 years. Now you have 14.

You get in a wreck and laid up for a year, loose you job, no problem. Use 1 of your years.

I dont want strings if you want to buy drugs, travel, or go to school does not matter.

When you 65 and only have 8 years left of benefits your should keep working. Maybe taking a lessor job. maybe take those 8 years at full rate take it at 1/2 rate as a supplement.

Its you life you know what you need not government.

Also in general, This should not apply to , mental illness patients and those who truly can not function on their own. or their care takers if family members.

Republicans aren't assholes we just don't want chronic dependence.

Man Who Shot At Police In Self Defense Is Acquitted

newtboy says...

Who are you and what have you done with Bobknight?

I’m incredibly glad you’ve moved away from “don’t want to get beaten to death, should have complied with the officers”. I fear it’s only because the victim was protecting his friend’s business from BLM protesters, and appears white…so it’s only bias that allows you to see this as a violent criminal act by police.

I hope I’m wrong and you’ve come around to the truth, that police have become nothing but a violent criminal gang over the last 25 years and need massive reform, which has been poorly named “defund the police”….time will tell if you’ve really changed your tune or if you still only see this as a crime when the victim agrees with you politically.

Ending qualified immunity is the main thing BLM wants (besides ending racist policing). That would allow victims to sue the officer(s) that committed the crimes and prosecutors to prosecute them. Republicans blocked any efforts to remove it, even though most Republican voters want it removed or at least seriously curtailed. That’s why they get a pass, that’s why taxpayers pay for their criminal acts, that’s why they’re still police.
This means you are now on the side of BLM and against Republican congresspeople and Trump, at least on this issue. Welcome back to Earth.

bobknight33 said:

They should have been charged with crimes. But they got a pass.

All that is left is a cash settlement for their fuck up. And yes tax payers will pick up the tab. Thats fucked too. Pay out should be taken from the PD budget.

Why can't the victim/PD/city sue the officers individually? "You do the crime, you do the time." Make the punishment just and personally reponsible & I bet these "bad apples" blue gangs occurences would be slashed by a half. Guess these "police union" criminal organizations holds too much power.

Qualified Immunity is such BS, such blanket protection/corruption shouldn't exist in the first place.

US sues to block TX abortion law

newtboy says...

Jane you ignorant slut…..MY tangent straw men!?! Lol!!! You mean like how many ultrasound techs I’ve known!? Or what my personal hands on experience is….as if one can only have an opinion on abortion or knowledge of the stages of development if they are ultrasound techs. Aaaaaahahahaha. That must be good meth.
Ok, here….again…. Illiterate Fool: you aren’t so blatantly hypocritical that you are both anti choice and anti mandatory vaccination, are you?

No one said it makes one a doctor besides you. Another paper tiger you set up for yourself. It’s not clever, you aren’t “winning”, you need your Ritalin.

My degree is general science, so I’m actually qualified to answer general science questions like this one. What’s your degree in again?

Bob, if you won’t or can’t read, there’s no point repeating myself again….Your question, replete with grammatical errors, was answered multiple times above. Reading comprehension is obviously not a strong suit for you.

In short, my hands on knowledge is decades of science education well beyond biology, necessarily including basic medical education (like topics like this), a continuing curiosity about how things work that keeps me up to date on most mainstream science including medical breakthroughs and quackery like your arguments, and ties to the Stanford medical community because my mother edited all their publications for decades, forwarding me the most interesting advancements they made, often before they were published.

Now, again I ask…what’s your personal experience on this topic? I’m absolutely certain it’s less, there’s no way an 8th grade dropout works in medicine. You have no experience and no education, no understanding, no knowledge at all, just what bubba dun told you down to da boars nest.

It’s what there is at 6 weeks. The whole thing is less than a newt in the egg, no limbs, 1/2 the size of a pea….the heart isn’t formed at all. Get someone to read for you, watch a film, this isn’t hard info to find if you remove your head from your anus. Look at real medical sites, not anti abortion propaganda sites, they lie, exaggerate, and obfuscate.

What was you question of me? One gets tired of you tangent straw man arguments and can get lost in you incoherent gibberish.

Also reading some books and tagging along with you mom at the hospital does not make you a Doctor or any medical official.

Your medical degree is in what?
Bullshitology?

Yet you haven't responded to this simple question...

So AGAIN

Elitist Tool:
What actual hands on knowledge you you fucking have about this topic?

Or is this you response...

Not sure I understand. Neither article dealt with common sense, only that people with high iq's often aren't what most would consider "successful" and rarely fit in in a world that values predictable uninspired thinking and those who take the road more traveled over intelligence and unique thought processes.
I could be Steve from the second article if my IQ was 46 points higher. His mannerisms sound just like me, except I don't limit my references to three movies. I went to college for over ten years with no plan for any degree...but accidentally qualified for a general science degree anyway. I've never seen a successful career as the road to happiness, so many successful professionals are miserable...same goes for wealth. I've always thought, when you find yourself in want of something, don't ask the universe to give you more, ask it to help you want less. That road leads to contentment and happiness. Does that mean I have more, or less common sense than average? It definitely makes me abnormal, many would say unsuccessful....I think they measure success wrong.

visionep said:

@newtboy, that's an interesting theory. I'm not sure if the IQ would go up or not. Common sense doesn't always track with IQ.

Why should college be free

newtboy says...

Stossel is a far right propagandist these days.

My theory is they waste money by offering loans for the first two years at major private universities....knowing that the classes are designed to weed out >75% of students before their Jr year. Jr colleges aren't designed to fail or burn out most students, class sizes are exponentially smaller, and the teachers are often better, certainly more accessible to students.
By offering to loan the money they knowingly set up that 75% for failure and long term debt for nothing. By paying for those two years at Jr colleges they could let students figure out if they are capable of a full degree without the enormous expense. As long as the Jr colleges are qualified, 4 year universities will usually transfer credits already.

As to trades...yes perhaps professionals can, under some circumstances, make as much as some white collar professional, even lawyers, but that certification takes years of low paid apprenticeship to qualify for. I welded for years, I built bridges, water tanks, construction tools, industrial ovens, crash attenuatiors, race cars, boats, .... my average wage in that time was barely over $10 an hour, and never over $20. It takes a long time to start earning a real living wage in most cases.

spawnflagger said:

Don't know this Stossel guy (seems like a tool), but was always a fan of Mike Rowe, and also his initiative to get more workers in the trades.

I've seen plumbers (2-yr degree + certification) with higher hourly rates than lawyers (8-yr degree + bar exam). I also know a guy who makes more now as a general contractor than he did as a DBA (B.S. in Computer Science).
I think part of this is supply & demand- not as many tradespeople so the wages go up to hire those willing, and the cost of higher wages gets passed on to the customer.

But the point of this video isn't "should you go to college?", it's "the liberals want hard-working people to pay for college for all these liberal students", which is a false premise and why I can't upvote it.

I think community college should be taxpayer-funded for those students who want more than just high school. (but they should have to maintain certain GPA to remain free)
As far as other private Universities, they should be able to charge for it. Colleges that receive Federal or State money should have a cap on the rate that tuition can increase per year (maybe based on inflation). Over the past 20 years, most college tuition has gone up way more than inflation or wages.

Rather than student-loan forgiveness, I'd rather see a federal program that will help those students who couldn't finish school go back and get their degree (where it will pay for itself) or get a different degree. Most of this sub-$10k student debt they talk about is for students who never got their degree.

Incoherent Biden

newtboy says...

Highly edited makes it fake....and just dumb. Editing hours of speaking for one minute of stuttering is laughable, especially since you can get the same amount of inability to speak from any two minutes of any Trump speech.

Every time you feel like talking shit about your president, remember, Joe kicked Trump's ass handily without breaking a sweat. Trump pulled out all the stops and spent hundreds of millions he didn't have, Biden, as you loved to say, campaigned from his basement and had millions left over. Even taking it easy, Biden beat Trump like a red headed step child.
Why?
Because Trump is a proud unapologetic and constant liar, he's deranged, evil, hyper criminal, mentally unstable, old, feeble, pedophilic, narcissistic, divisive, dumb, treasonous, a repeatedly convicted fraud and thief, likely a pill popper, a rapist dozens of times over by his own admission, 100% disloyal, a child abuser, and cannot string together an entire sentence or pronounce English. His administration had more felons, and committed more felonies than all administrations before him, and more Americans unnecessarily died from his actions and lack thereof than in almost all wars America has fought combined (besides the civil war)
Biden sometimes has temporary trouble speaking smoothly.
Thousands of videos point this out, but you are willfully blind. I'm certain his inability to speak or walk up or down stairs or ramps or to think won't stop you from voting for Trump in 24, ensuring a second Biden term. I think you'll vote Trump even if he's in a prison hospital drooling on himself.

This is the problem with Trump derangement syndrome, it makes you not comprehend that everything you want to complain about from Biden is 10 times worse in Trump. Whatever ridiculousness you spout about Biden's abilities only makes his wiping the floor with Trump without effort all the more delicious...so sure, Biden is old, stuttering, feeble, weak, and tired....and he kicked Trump's ass in a historic landslide from his basement without even trying, and continues to thoroughly kick his ass in approval ratings. LMFAHS!!

Joe has the cognitive skills to be Potus, always has, and most of America agrees....more than EVER thought Trump was qualified in any way, especially cognitive skills. Remember the redrawn hurricane map he was so demented he thought looked unadulterated with his fat sharpie? Covfefe.

Biden's approval rating has never been as low as Trump's highest point.

So sad, little Bobby. Such kindergarten argument. Your juice box went bad and now you've just got sour grapes. Change your soiled panties, dry your cheeks, wipe that snot off your face, and grow the fuck up, buddy.

A stutter/stammer is not an indicator of mental decline, but Trump shows ALL the signs....did you drink your bleach yet? Why not, if Trump wasn't demented to suggest it?

You think Donny had, and still has the cognitive skills to be president, so your opinion is already clearly invalid. Enjoy the next 15 3/4 years, if that's the best you can come up with against Biden and Harris you're in for a long haul of losing.

Winning....big daddy Biden kicking ass and taking names!! Lol.
