The megaman sequence in itself deserves a sift. Extremely clever stuff.

(good, because on OSX the SNES emulator is WAY better than the NES one. Yes I know it doesn't make any sense, but there's really no good NES emulator out here).

I knew a kid who had a Powerglove, in retrospect, it was completely gimmicky. At the time though, he was the most popular kid on the street because of that "gimmicky" thing. I think every street has that one spoiled kid who ALWAYS has the latest and greatest toys. Kids loves gimmicks and that doesn't in any way taint how freaking cool the glove was in it's day if you were a younging.

Don't worry looris you didn't miss anything special, after Megaman 3, the series goes downhill. I remember pairing off w/my dad trying to beat Dr.Wiley's castle...he eventually earned the family prestige of beating the game (MM2) first. The Megaman-X series for the SNES were also fantastic, def recommend the ROMs for that series. Love the manically devoted way this is sung...(also, the ending credits music still gives me chills to this day)

I LOVED megaman, and still do. I had only 2 and 3, but a friend of mine had 1 too. Didn't know there were 4~6 till the emulators era (haven't played them yet, though).

yea, the song that plays while megaman is...losing is called "the decisive battle" and it is from final fantasy vi, as GJV said.

I don't know about exactly who did it or sings it, but when Sylvia is walking through Punch-Out's cityscape scene, the tune is from the first stage of Dr. Wily's Castle in Megaman 2. During the next part, that is a remix of Final Fantasy 6 boss music. And knowing is half the battle!

Oh my God... I havent played megaman 2 since my nintento broke 15 years ago... such an awesome game..

Oh oh oh...my favorite part is Megaman. Close runner-up is the Dragonball Z Fusion...that made me laugh.
