I would argue the greater immorality is to support someone who is clearly too inept and out of their depth to hold the highest office in the country over someone who has the intellect and critical thought process to be a Congressman but sends some 'dirty' pictures/messages to someone.

Hell i'd take the intellectual and critical thinking Congressman even if he banged a few of these girls over a clearly inept but morally sound (and i'm not even saying Palin is morally sound) person when it comes to running the country. Everyone makes mistakes, we're humans and not infallible. I don't believe you can just someone on one mistake, no matter how stupid.

JFK and Clinton demonstrated that nailing a few women out of wedlock doesn't mean you're not capable of holding office. What he does in his private life is his business - Wiener made the mistake of flashing his on twitter. If he'd kept private between consenting adults who are we to call for his head???

Firemen and policemen don't lose their job for having an affair and they serve in a public position and are probably bigger role models than politicians.

A friend of mine told me that she was at a Gay Rights March on Washington. She stood on the Capitol steps and waved a rainbow flag. She was told that she couldn't do that, that only American flags were allowed on Capitol grounds.

When I was 15, I sat down on a chunk of marble at JFK's grave site, off to the side. A soldier in full regalia came over and told me that I was "sitting on his grave" and that I should stand up to show respect.

I am beginning to see a theme to these stories.

Sometimes respect has to be legislated, if there are so many different understandings of what it means to show respect.

Certainly there is a conversation to be had about whether it is even appropriate to say "this space is sacred". But why turn it into "Adam versus The Man"? It is childish and in my opinion, is a kneejerk response from a guy who has authority issues.

There are real problems with police brutality -- take this energy and instead highlight the brutality that results from our misguided war on drugs. Now that is something worth fighting for. This just diminishes the whole concept of "police brutality."

And bottom line.... this is just silly.

I was standing at the cargo bin door of a SAAB once, getting ready to hop in when a CRJ-200's wing clipped the SAAB's wing and rocked it pretty good. I've seen incidents like in this video from aircraft being pushed back but, never from a taxiing aircraft and never that severe.

If you look to the lower right you see a glowing orb kind of shape moving towards the CRJ 7 and when the aircraft starts swinging around you see it hopping back, that's the marshaller's vest glowing. I'm curious as to who takes a hit for this, airport operations or the marshallers for not parking the CRJ 7 as soon as it got there... or the pilot of the airbus for just charging on through because some pilots are assholes like that.
