Doctor Who Theme Classical Acoustic Guitar Cover
It's mostly the type of guitar (nylon strings) and the fingerpicking style.

Ewan Dobson - Time 2

Upvote for the Raiden hat. But the "awesome fingerpicking" isn't so awesome since he uses a reverb filter. Oh well. Still sounds nice.
Hey everyone, it's Raiden with a guita ... ah crap you beat me to it.

Stephen Stills - Crossroads/You Can't Catch Me
It's awesome to see someone playing like this using a guitar pick.
I've always seen a rift between people who fingerpick using their fingernails, and people who use picks.
He appears to be doing both, picking and finger-picking. Now, that makes this much more awesome.

Virtuoso Spanish Guitar
The action on this acoustic is ludicrously low - I call 'shredfest'..
The fingerpicking is fairly impressive though, I guess.
[I wonder if people would vote for someone playing the same thing on an electric guitar...] hmnn
Jackson Browne - 'These Days'
Thanks. I've been on a Jackson kick again since seeing him perform last week. I happen to love fingerpicking/fingerstyle, and he's one of the best.

I'd heard of Etta Baker before finding your other vids of her, but didn't really know her music. She really was amazing. I've downvoted posts just for being a slideshow instead of actual video, but this one is definitely worth an exception (I've added it to my Buried Treasure playlist).
And speaking of finger picking - check out these two incredible kids.

Isn't it though? I knew when I sifted this, it wouldn't publish because it's just audio. Not many people know of this woman unfortunately. There's so little video of her around, I just had to post it long enough to get into my fingerpicking playlist.
She's one-of-a-kind. I could listen to her all day

Tommy Emmanuel - Guitar Machine
They did make an album together, "The Day the Fingerpickers Took Over the World".
Hannes Coetzee playing slide guitar with teaspoon.
Oh my, that is skillful and soulful playing there. Using the spoon to play slide on the top strings, and normal fingerpicking on the rest is just spectacular. This is going on del.icio.us and my local bookmarks for sure.
