BMW Z4 GT3 Assembly Time Lapse

Payback says...

This brings back memories of rebuilding my Mustang back in 2003.

Yep, every time I'd bust open a knuckle perched precariously on a fender or scrape my forehead rolling around underneath on a creeper, I'd sit for a few minutes daydreaming about this kind of setup.

How to Make Minecart Boosters in Minecraft

Probably for the same reason people don't see the guy in the gorilla suit pass by, selective attention. It is far easier when watching a video of a person play a game to catch what they are missing, but another thing while in game to miss it.

HOW DID HE NOT SEE THAT EFFING CREEPER BEFORE HE DROPPED DOWN!? Oh man.

You could put the game on Peaceful mode, and I think I would if I was making a tutorial like this one, but that sort of ruins the fun of playing the game itself. It isn't just a sandbox game. If you want that play the free Classic version. Half the fun is fending off the enemy and protecting yourself.

Why is there no way to disable the zombies? Does anyone actually want them? If I were playing with my K'Nex and some zombie came up and killed me I'd throw the fucking K'Nex out. It's a sandbox game, not Resident Evil.
I've never played Minecraft and so do not know if there is some way to disable zombie attacks.

Why livestreaming Minecraft is a bad idea.

It is his scream that makes this so full of win for me. Well that and the "renewed confidence" comment just moments before the Creeper showed up.
I came here for a good laugh before bed, but now I am thinking they are scary, and skeletons can be too when you hear their bow go off then ouch! They at least give more warning, but sometimes I hear them behind walls and can't find them so sometimes I get a little lax... and find death becomes me.

Yeah, so why does this make it a bad idea and not an ingenious one?
The Fable 3 "orb" thing... now that could be either ingenious or bad.

The entire thing was streamed, he had at least a few viewers (number is unknown) and all of them watching most likely had the absolute SHIT scared out of them, not only by the creeper, but by the blood-curdling scream let out upon him seeing the creeper.

So, when you die in Minecraft, is it permadeath and you lose all your stuff? This is the second video I've seen of people dying and both had similar reactions.

No, it isn't permadeath, but all your stuff that you are carrying drops on the ground and you respawn at your spawn point. Depending how far away from your spawn point you are, your stuff may disappear before you can make it all the way back to it.

Those monsters, called Creepers, make no sound at all until they are right up on you exploding. They scare the shit out of me every time.

There are a couple live Minecraft steams I watch from time to time. For some reason when I saw the lava I thought he would either break rule 101 (never dig under you) or accidently fall in while trying to reach out and clear the ceiling due to OCD issues. The creeper was pure awesome, I've had moments like that myself.
EDIT: Actually that is rule 1 in class 101.

I totally heard a groaning. why would someone not just lay down two blocks when they are down there ignoring their surrounding?

Creepers don't actually groan, that was just a zombie in the walls. The only sound creepers make is a short hiss, followed by a very large "boom"

Minecraft Is Just Awesome

Croccydile says...

The real awesome will start when MP servers support monsters. As the way the game is currently for multiplayer it is currently permanently "peaceful" which is not a bad thing depending on how you view things. However I like going into a dark cave and uncovering a few blocks and then suddenly spiders and penis monsters creepers pour out and try to kick your ass.

I've had a few ragequit moments though... like when you manage to get some diamonds only to die on your way back to your base. Remember folks... BACKUP YOUR SAVE GAME OFTEN!

Three weeks now into the game and I still have not managed to touch anything advanced like minecarts (with boosters) or redstone circuits. The latter of which alone is amazing in its own right.
