Oh, THAT Shinseki - The one who stood up to Rumsfeld and got canned. Very cool indeed on several levels.
Slinky Cat Takes the Stairs
Reminds of the best comic strip of all time.
"I think cats are actually classified as a liquid."
New google web browser (Geek Talk Post)
Just started using it and am very impressed. Quick and a slick interface. Makes everything else feel bloated. The technical improvements are reassuring as well. Read more in the lovely comic strip;

potentially, sure.
which is why there's one thing, that's never supposed to happen.
you're never to allow those who would profit from warfare, to decide whether or not warfare is warranted, or conducted.
a corporation has one legal responsibility: to attempt to make a profit, at all times, for its shareholders.
i have no problem with that.
so long as anyone connected to that corporation, has no conflict of interest, by being in a position to decide, whether or not their products get used.
dig?

Close Up
If you know your comic strips you might just pick out some of the shapes.
In the summer of 1998 I took a trip to Chicago and saw the work of Ray Yoshida. He taught at the School of Art at the Institute of Chicago. I enjoyed the show so much I bought a catalog. The show of his work was the inspiration for making this piece.
I have plans to do some more too.
Al Franken's "Supply Side Jesus"
great sift JD, but when you post a quote it's good etiquette to cite where the quote comes from (in this case youtube) when visitors read it they could assume You were the one who "chopped up the comic strip"
Sex Drugs and Democracy: The Netherlands
people see all this cool stuff but the dutch government seems to be hard core conservative. vary white is right. they have like one black in office. what pissed me off was when the dutch government officially sided with the newspaper that published the comic strip that angered so many Muslims. that would have been better not said. but racists like to voice there views indirectly

Bad News does the worst cover of "Bohemian Rhapsody" ever
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bad_News
Bad News are a spoof rock band, created for the Channel 4 television series The Comic Strip Presents....
The band also guested on some TV music shows and released a self-titled album, consisting of thrashy rock songs interspersed with arguments amongst the band. Brian May of Queen produced the album, which included a cover of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody".
