The entire AR15 range needs to be replaced but Colt is putting pressure on the government to stick with them. It's beyond belief. H&K fully completed the replacement but Colt objected because it claimed there was no fair competition but then Colt made no effort to improve their guns at all!

It is really terrifying that big corporations can control the US governemnt so much that the troops aren't even given reliable weapons. At least my government (UK) allowed the SA80 to be fixed, which was also done by H&K.

Kudos to you for posting this. As a long time so-called "Conspiracy theorist" who has been reading and watching this stuff for a decade now, it's not news to me...but it might wake up others.

I often tell people about Leo Strauss, the Straussians, Alan bloom & Richard Perle, University of chicago...and they just stand there with their mouth agape, shocked beyond belief. I even sent in an editorial about this to my local paper. Very well researched...and it blew everyone away when they printed it.
