That time your accident avoidance system served you well
I would guess the Sienna vastly outsells every other minivan model in Alaska, as it's the only one available with all-wheel-drive.
Typical Evo wunderkid...

The very epitome of hipster driving.
I personally can't stand the way some locales actually ALLOW bikes to "lane split" or "filter". Everything about it just reeks. I do however enjoy when some Ken Block wannabe can't keep all four of his overpowered, all-wheel-drive should-be-simple-to-control-but-balls-are-bigger-than-brains econobox hipstermobile wheels on the road.
What are EVOs and WRSs?
Cars on ski slopes, 2 WD, 4 WD, and 4x4 snow tires rule
slight nitpick about the video. the technology and the performance is different between All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) and 4-Wheel-Drive (4x4). These guys use the terms interchangeably, but that Ford is AWD, not 4x4.
It would also be a nice PSA if they did the same comparison on ice - where all of them would fail hard. This might teach dumb SUV owners that nothing works on ice and they should slow the fuck down when it's freezing rain followed by heavy snow.
Jaguar's New (6 second 1 - 100mph) Hybrid Supercar
Soon enough, hybrids and electrics will be worth investing in-500 hp, all wheel drive, 0-60 in under 6 seconds, now THESE are beginning to appeal to the driver in me.....
A bit of snow is not going to stop the mighty Audi
You might find the following also interesting:
As many now, "Quattro" started as a specific Audi Model, introduced 1980. The huge success and fame of this model led to the "Quattro" suffix of all the following AWD Audis. But funny enough the original Audi Quattro (or "Ur-Quattro" in German) was planned to be named Audi Carat, an acronym for "Coupe All-Rad-Antrieb Turbo" which translates to "all wheel drive turbo coupe". But Audi tossed that because of a perfume of that time with a rather questionable target group's image...
Always thought it was funny that Audi chose the *Italian* word for four...
although I guess Audi Vier doesn't sound as good.

I would be especially worried if I owned a car that was mostly sold as front-wheel drive, but the one I owned was one of a few rare, all-wheel drive models(which I do).
Let me guess - Eclipse GSX?
Nope, but a good guess. Mazda 323 GTX. Only ~1300 sold in North America.

Looking at getting a 2001 pt cruiser ltd. Guess its got a sunroof, did not say that in the ad. 168000 km " fully loaded " heated leather seats etc.
I figure take the back seat out, move the seats all the way forward and I would be able to sleep in it if need be, I myself dont need the back seats because 1 I dont get any action and two if I did get any action being able to sprawl out would be far more advantageous in that moment. Loss of weight would make the mileage better, more storage room. I could go on and on, seems to way way out weight the benefits of having the seat. I dont tote people around.
comes with new studded winter tires which around here is a good thing. all wheel drive. for 4500. Sure I could knock it down to 4400 if I bring cash and dangle it in front of them. I think the vehicle is pretty unique looking and I seem to have become fond of them.
Tomorrow I shall look at it, today I just read and read.

What if the car was a standard and was in gear? Wouldn't dragging the tires like that cause damage when they can't roll freely?
The majority of cars on the road today are two-wheel drive. The Chevrolet Corvette being towed at the beginning of the video is rear-wheel drive and the Toyota Corolla at the end of the video is front-wheel drive. In these cases, the tow truck driver hoists the car by it's driven wheels.
In the case of an all-wheel drive vehicle, this solution would cause damage to the vehicle. I would be especially worried if I owned a car that was mostly sold as front-wheel drive, but the one I owned was one of a few rare, all-wheel drive models(which I do). You can't expect a tow truck driver to know the driven wheels of every car ever made, and the ad itself points out that the tow truck driver can do everything without ever getting out of his truck.
$220k Bentley in UAE Desert Thinks it's Range Rover/Camel
I think he is a test engineer for VAG (Volkswagen Audi Group). This is an endurance test. You know, to see how the all wheel drive system holds up.
One way to scrape the bottom of your car clean!
First thought: I have a good sense of the size and shape of my car, but I have no idea where the wheels are relative to the rest of the body (I don't bump other cars when I park, but I usually hit the curb with my tires).
Second thought: Saved by front, or all, wheel drive?

All Wheel Drive will get you to your accident sooner. Plenty of teens "buying" them with Mommy and Daddy's credit card. The payments outlive the teens fairly often.

Do you race? Do tell. Those things are lethal in the wrong hands. We've lost about five teenagers (plus some people in the cars they hit) in our part. Fabulous cars, I'd love one.
