Myth or no, it's MY favorite meal of the day!

YouTube: Lately, I've become a target for people who like to tell me that "I'm doing nutrition" wrong. Evidently, some people don't agree with my plea, "Don't judge" when it comes to what others eat.

One of the things that horrifies my friends is that I don't eat breakfast. I'm just not hungry in the morning. A cup of coffee, and that's all I need until lunch. I've been that way for decades.

This means that I'm subjected to periodic lectures on how breakfast is "the most important meal of the day". Yeah, that's a myth. It's also the topic of this week's Healthcare Triage.

i'm doing the 5:2 diet atm. two days of fasting, five days of feasting. Usually don't eat breakky, tomorrow I'll have beacon for breakky

I couldn't agree more with this.

I love me some breakfast... when I want it. But I am almost never hungry in the morning, and I am sick of muppets telling me I have to eat breakfast.

The only time I'll eat breakfast in the early morning is when I'm going to be doing a lot of physical activity early (e.g. a half marathon or equivalent).

Yeah, I hardly ate breakfast for a decade just because I didn't have the time between crunching sleep and getting to work, then my metabolism just evolved.

I think this is the reason that eggs. sausage, hash browns, bacon & toast make me excited since rarely have the time to eat em.
