I had a group of army ants use me a highway once while I was trying to be all quiet and hidden in the forest one night. That "everywhere" part is no bull!

There might be. I was turning on an IR camera every fifteen minutes or so to check something. On one of those checks I saw ants running over the nearby vines, I turned the camera to my legs and noticed they were covered. I don't think I hit 'record'.. but I might have.
I was kind of amazed that I didn't feel them, or hear them or anything, but I may have been half asleep. They didn't start biting until I started trying to smack them off of me. At which point, they swept across the solar system, and I was no longer silent.
..if I ever go through those tapes again, and find that this was recorded, you can Sift it.

I am surprised they didn't eat you in your sleep.
