Let me take a moment to let the scotch settle in. So many things have happened to me. I honestly forget some of it.

I'm no secret agent. I'm not rightly sure what a good life is as opposed to a bad life.

Watched "My Dinner with Andre" recently and loved it. Wallace Shawn has got my vote.

Finished "Off the Road" by Carolyn Cassady yesterday, felt a little sad afterwards, knowing that I could never read that book for the first time again.

And you? How are you my dear?

I couldn't agree more. And it's long overdue.

America is synonymous with the word "inovation" and yet, we don't seem to be doing a lot of it as of late, except in warfare it seems.

Frankly, here in Roswell, it's scary to ride a bike. There are no real lanes and I don't trust the drivers around here. It's a little town, but it's ten miles from one end to the other and living here without wheels is a definite challenge.

Hehe, that's okay, I don't know why it matters so much to me alla sudden. I did like that video. I really wish the US would embrace this kind of urban planning.

Thank you!

Sorry I didn't say that before but I honestly didn't notice that. When I went to the page and scrolled down the list I saw that you had added it to some channels or playlists but I missed the promote.

Mucho gracias, cool cat in the hat!

In reply to this comment by schmawy:
You might also have noticed that I promoted it for you, Rowgee.

Thanks. Siftbot wasn't as polite.

I am so sorry to hear about what happened in your country today, with the madman in the car.

My heart goes out to them.

Your point being?

Where was I uncivilized?

[edit]

Oh...I see what you mean. I went back and checked out the thread. All better now.

In reply to this comment by EDD:
Dude, it's CaptainPlanet, with whom you've conversed in a civilized manner before, not CaptainPlanet420, the fundie racist troll.

In reply to this comment by rougy:
You know what's really smug?

To presume that you are correct and everybody else is wrong by asking questions that have no answers, and then having the gall to think that your answer to the question is the only answer there is.

What has really been displayed here, both by you and that pushy prick in your video, is your insecurity, your weakness of faith.

When other people don't think exactly as you do, it means you might not be right, and that fills you with doubt, and you are simply too weak to handle that.

Somebody should have asked him to have his god make the honey or milk for them right then and there, because that would prove his existence, right?

Very well said.

In reply to this comment by jwray:
A dumb, uneducated poor man without family connections has four choices, roughly in order of preference:

1. Conforming to every whim of a corporation in exchange for just enough money to survive (and not enough to get an education or proper healthcare). This is better than slavery, but not a whole lot better.
2. The dole (maybe)
3. Theft
4. Starving to death

If economic shit hits the fan and #1 is not available, #2 better be available, or else #3 is inevitable. I'm not saying it's justified, but it's sure as hell inevitable.

No, I'm pretty sure Coulter means most of what she says, though she says it in the most incendiary terms possible.

Her dad was a rich lawyer who specialized in union busting.

She's always been pretty well-off, but never rich enough to hang with the blue bloods, and this is her very selfish attention-whore way of ingratiating herself into their club.
