I was using ScrapeUp. Whether by copying the embed and submitting it manually, or by clicking the "Submit to VideoSift" button, that space is there.

However, this does not solve the problem. Removing the space does not change the error.

Ah. I noticed a common thing in your two screenshots: You are inserting a space before the closing angle bracket like this:

It happens to me even at school on a completely different computer. I'll take some screenshots.

I'm baffled. I pasted that exact code into the submit form and it tells me "Embed code is valid and does not belong to another video".

Is there something wrong with your browser maybe? Try a different browser and see if the same thing happens.

If it continues regardless of browser, try taking a screenshot and showing us.

Fair enough -- I can understand the sentiment. Wouldn't call myself a liberal though. The Obama/McCain thing is a polarizing issue. I'm really a "small-l" libertarian, if I had to put a label on myself.
