It isn't the search function, it is confusion on the part of Sifters who don't understand how the search function works.

I don't know for sure -- I just have my own observation -- but it seems to me that when a video is relatively new, the search functions looks at the title AND the tags when looking for dupes.

As the vid gets older, it only looks at the tags.

I just changed the tags on the original video to include the name "zach wahls." Now future dupes should be prevented.

Again, I may be wrong about this. Just my observation.
