Yes it would be madness to let known terrorists walk around hardware shops unhindered.

But it is even more madness to defend freedom by beating random fabricated confessions out of innocent people, and then acting on them violently, and then expecting the victim's brother not to want to fly a plane into your ass.

QM, we all want world peace, some of us want to lead by example, some of us respect the constitution, some of us know that violence breeds violence, some of us know the legal system breaks down if you abuse it and start using the word "terrorist" to bypass it.
