Ah, one of the all-time great singles of the rock era. So mature, yet it was their first single. I envy those hearing this for the first time (and they're just kids in this video... kids!). One of Paul McCartney's favorite songs:

According to Wikipedia, Winwood would have been about 18 when this was performed,(born in '48), but who cares? It's an awesome performance for a teen, regardless. My already healthy respect for him just went up a few more notches after seeing this. Wow!

great song indeed. like the original better though, it's more hippy and weird. steve winwood is one of the best vocalists in history if you ask me (which you didn't)
