Yeah. They are. Not even so much for protection anymore, just because it's traditional to be utterly unflappable and unbreakable as a queen's guard. So you only get the severe hard cases signing up and only the best of the severe hard cases accepted.

What impresses me is not that he throws up only by bending slightly forward to keep the queen's uniform clean, but how he doesn't show ANY signs of being ill at all UNTIL he throws up. He's marching like a beast, suppressing his illness, then throws up, then straight back to it.

Everything I've ever seen on the Cost side is that Medicare and Medicaid is much much more efficient than the insurance system. In fact where Medicare and Medicaid struggle is when they have to deal or use the insurance system in some way, it all gets bogged down in paperwork and bureaucracy.

For decades a lot of the public have wanted a health care for everyone single payer system. The only time this began to get traction was when GM endorsed a change in health care because it costs them $2000 more to make a car in Detroit than it does in Windsor Canada, because they have to pay for Health Care. That is a sign of a broken democracy but it's also a sign that this is cost effective and should be done the way the public wants.

"What is a more democratic version of health care than having a democratic government running health care?"

Health Care is a stunning example of just how undemocratic America really is. For decades a majority of the population has wanted free and easily accessible health care up to 80% (polling and such). Yet in the 2004 election during one of the debates pundits pointed out that John Kerry didn't bring up the idea of Free Health Care because it has so little political support. So little meaning only a majority of the people, however it's the people that don't matter. In the 2008 elections it became a topic but not because we've become more democratic, it's because the system we have now costs a ridiculous amount of money. General Motors realized that it costs them $2000 more to make a car in Detroit than it does in Windsor (Canada). The state pays for health care so it's just much more efficient and cheaper, with better results than what we have now. So to recap, Free Health Care only because an issue that had Political support not when a majority of the public wanted it, but when business interests realized it was hurting their bottom line.

That doesn't sound like a very democratic society to me.

A little too flashy for my tastes, save perhaps for special occasions. I can imagine this would only look good with a three-piece suit A double Windsor knot is my weapon of choice for most occasions. The way you tie your tie is important though. It's something you can do to improve your appearance by just knowing something rather than having to buy something. Your standard knot is lopsided and scrunched and suggests you're just doing the bare minimum.

When you look good, you feel good. At times when confidence is vital, looking your best is very important.

i have still yet to read any plausible explanation for the reason that 3 steel skyscrapers fell at almost terminal velocity and disintegrated into rubble in their own footprint when fires have never caused a steel-framed building to totally collapse, before or after September 11th, 2001.

In February 2005 the 32-story Windsor Building in Madrid, Spain, caught fire and burned for two days. The building was completely engulfed in flames at one point. Several top floors collapsed onto lower ones, yet the building remained standing.

In October 2004 in Caracas, Venezuela, a fire in a 56-story office tower burned for more 17 hours and spread over 26 floors. Two floors collapsed, but the underlying floors did not, and the building remained standing.

In February 1991 a fire gutted eight floors of the 38-story One Meridian Plaza building in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The fire burned for 18 hours. The building did not collapse.

In May 1988 a fire at the Interstate Bank Building in Los Angeles destroyed four floors and damaged a fifth floor of the modern 62-story building. The fire burned for four hours. The building did not collapse.

i'm sure most will want to use the 'jet fuel' as the culprit for bringing down WTC1 & WTC2 (even though said jet fuel would have burned up within 20min) ... unfortunately, you can't use that incendiary for WTC7 as it was not hit by a plane.

how do account for the fact that Rudy Giuliani told ABC News and Peter Jennings; "We were operating out of there (his OEM bunker) when we were told that the World Trade Center was gonna collapse, and it did collapse before we could get out of the building." !?!?!? how did he know when the firefighters rescuing people in WTC1 & WTC2 didn't even know!?!

at first glance it is easy to see why there have been little to no investigations on all the lovely 'put option' on the market before 9/11 ... hmmmmmm, all the details of such transactions have been destroyed ... bummer!

anyway ... i know it's extremely hard to wrap your head around the fact that our gov't would do something like this ... but they have in the past, did so on 9/11 and will do so again in the future ... period.
