Whoa There Wexler! You're Dangerously Close to Making Sense
The Party Is Always Right. The Opposition Is Always Wrong. The Opposition Is a Haven Of Terrorists Lovers. Defend The Party Line. Obey The Party.
And you are not behaving like a communist. Not at all.

Whoa There Wexler! You're Dangerously Close to Making Sense
Pfft, what do you expect from someone who thinks getting high on cocaine with prostitutes is a fun thing to do.
Wexler Confronts Condi on Iraq War Lies
This would have been no problem if Wexler would just have adopted O'Reilly's "cut her mic" command.
Wexler Confronts Condi on Iraq War Lies
That might have something to do with the fact that Condi's microphone was turned up significantly louder than Wexler's allowing her to overpower and interrupt.. Besides if that didn't work she had her lackeys with her to "handle" the situation.
Why is impeachment important?

Rep. Wexler Wants Cheney Impeachment Hearings
drattus: Hook, line & sinker. ;-)
I do appriciate you trying to correct me, though.
I <3 wexler for what he did, shows that he has balls.
Rep. Wexler Wants Cheney Impeachment Hearings
Cheney is about as dirty as dirty gets and there are more than enough reasons to not only impeach him, but to imprison him.
Wexler is the very definition of patriotic by undertaking this effort.
Colbert Interviews Eleanor Holmes Norton
I usually avoid posting items from Colbert or Daily Show, since those shows have so many notable clips they should have their own repository. However, once in a while there are items that stand out and deserve some extra attention. My last posting from the show was such a case (Colbert responding to MSM uproar on Wexler, http://www.videosift.com/story.php?id=6372).
This posting is a lot of fun, one of the better "Better Know a Districts" -- Ms. Horton holds her own against Stephen, and they both seem to get into it. It's always amazing to me how the show hits just the right spot -- it brings up salient political issues and satirizes the absurdities with just the right balance of gravitas and levity.
Fox News takes Rep. Wexler from the Colbert Report out of context ("I enjoy cocaine because...")
I would like to respectfully dissagree with tgeffeney
Here's why I think it is biased.
1-A republican makes a fool out of himself all the time on these shows and it never makes the news.
2-Even if you may think it is obvious that Wexler is pretending and the full edit doesn't change your mind (I agree by the way) that doesn't mean the everyone would have the same view. There are plenty of people who would think differently depending on what edit they saw, and as scary as it is, those people get to vote just like the rest of us.
3-If Fox "News" thought it was going to be obvious to everyone that it was in jest, why would they run it at all. It wouldn't be any more newsworthy than Leno's monologue.
I also think it's worth mentioning that Fox "News" isn't the only network that went with this edit. That's the scariest part as far as I'm concerned, that the other networks follow Fox's lead.
Fox News takes Rep. Wexler from the Colbert Report out of context ("I enjoy cocaine because...")
I too hate biased reporting, but I am not sure how in this case that is happening. Right after I heard the first segment from Fox, I could tell that Rep Wexler didn't actually enjoy cocaine and was just having fun responding to the question “let’s have some fun what are some things you could say that could cost you the election if you were contested. They made it clear that he was pretending to say stuff”. Seeing the unedited clips didn’t make me feel any different about the comical interview. Had do vote no on this for that reason.
