Naked people at supermarket in Denmark

And what exactly is the point of running a promotion like this?

Really? You don't see how having the opening of your store become a viral video is NOT a good thing for publicity and people knowing that the store exists? People in the areas that this place services are going to be sent the video with comments like 'check out what's near you!' and 'Did you go? I think you did... '

Nudity + free stuff = easy (and cheap) promotion.

If you wanna put it back, I won't fight. Channel reassignment is something I do out of compulsion, not out of caring about channels. I think the channels are mostly useless, actually.

But it seems to be fairly clear that this video has essentially been set up and intended to portray Shell in a comedic way. It might not advertise a product but in a way it's brand (anti)advertisement. With it's false premise, unusual incident and insinuations of being the real deal, it also possesses traits usually attributed to (intended) viral videos.

The video was revealed to be doctored, featuring Ahmed entering the ring in a 2009 match, and Ahmed suffering a first-round knock-out in a 2010 match." - Wikipedia

Honest question about channel assignments; I suppose you can make an argument why this video isn't squarely intended for the "Sexuality" channel, but why would this have been removed from the "Viral" channel? This video is the definition of viral...in two days it's had over 1.4 million views! What am I missing, so I don't improperly assign channels in the future? The FAQ offers no channel definitions or clarification. Thanks.

>>This video has been removed from all channels (Parody, Femme, Sexuality, Comedy, Viral) due to invalid channel assignment - nochannel invoked by xxovercastxx. Please review the FAQ to learn about appropriate channel assignments.
Adding video to channels (Comedy, Femme, Parody) - requested by xxovercastxx.

The channel descriptions are in the channels themselves. The title of the Viral channel is "Viral Ads" and describes allowed content as viral advertisements, not merely viral videos. (I know, it's kind of a poorly named channel. )

Maybe I have viral video burn-out and I assume everything is staged, but my first thought was how long were they left unattended for it to get that bad. They would need some time to get it scattered that much, probably laughing their heads off the whole time.

Come on, ant, you know viral is for ads.

In the beginning of each episode, it says "KIDS REACT! | Viral Videos"

And the viral channel clearly says it's for viral ads. This isn't one.

Oh, I thought it was for all viral types. What is the difference between commercials and viral ads. then?

People have argued that #viral should be changed to be all viral videos. The problem with that is all videos that appear on videosift are viral by their presence here. Viral videos are videos that become popular by being shared on the internet. Videosift is a collection of videos that we all share with each other on the internet. My own opinion is that #viral should just go away because it's useless with either definition.
To answer your question, viral ads are ads that have some gimmick or hook to get people to actively share them with each other. Contrast with traditional ads which you only saw during a commercial break. Viral ads are the ones that people send you and you send to other people, and they were designed to spread that way.

Ah thanks.
