This has a lot to do with what is happening in this country. It's a charade, on one hand you have these bizarre christian fundamentalists who say they want "small government" when actually they want to control the lives of Americans through their own personal agendas. Then you have corporations who seek to control the masses through lobbyists so you keep buying their products.

It's relevant because in many public schools they eat subsidized corporate garbage. Some schools have corporate advertising. The school's have PTO's run by a bunch of garbage eating, fundamentalist christians and everyone wants control of some personal agenda & crusade and enforce it on everyone else. Teachers are supposed to be knowledgeable about their topics, fuck your stupid standard curriculum syllabus and let them teach kids the best way they can. Stop making America sterile!

What the hell happened to this country, why does everything have to be controlled and why can't we just listen to one another, argue if need be. Maybe, just maybe I am wrong, maybe you're wrong but hopefully one of us fucking learns something. And if I am wrong I'll admit it, I won't go on some anti-intellectual crusade and try to obscure FACTS. This country needs to relearn what is necessary/unnecessary to control.

Teachers should be paid well. The irony is I went to a private school for Junior High & some high school. All the kids were rich spoiled brats, some of them had lambos & Vipers... the teachers were the best I ever had. But, I could make as much as those teachers working at fucking Kinkos. It's hilarious to think that that really is the way America works. My parents spent 10k a year & those teachers were paid less than 30k/yr. Sure, it was a "better" environment than a public school for those teachers - but their whole objective was to get these brats into Princeton. Oh, but we don't want democratic laws & regulations to tell us how we should run businesses & schools... please.

That was almost the Viper at Magic Mountain in CA. Needed a second loop after the first, but they had the helix and corkscrew at the right parts.

I did this exact same thing when I was a kid! The plant was at a freinds house and his parents told us they were poisonous so we wouldn't try to eat them. Well we were smarter than that so we tried just the tip of a pepper...

I was literally in tears for half an hour and nothing to this day has even come close to the hotness of one of those little mystery bastard peppers.

A 1 mile drag race is just a horsepower competition. Any number of $150K cars (modified turbo Corvettes, Vipers, Supras, etc.) could show up and hand the Veyron its ass in such a race.

Starbuck is an angel. She has been, perceivably, since the very beginning of the show. We cant really know for sure, wether it was real kara up to the eye of juptier, and then an angel, or if it was angel kara all along. Most theories ive read, see Kara as being the one true angel since day dot.

Hera was the best DNA of the last of the colonial technological genus. She represented everything that was good in both the colonials, and the skin-job's (who were ultimately a re-creation of the final 5's race of cylons).

Her role in the film was to impart these beneficial traits onto the rest of humanity on earth, in the hopes that they can break the cycle of humans and non-humans going to war with one another every few thousand years. Instead of just telling humanity to stop building machines of war, without regard to safeguards, and hoping for the best....change humanity, attack the root of the problem. Thus, Hera.

Angels don't always have to be pure and good

The other skinjobs didn't get resurrection, as Tyrol killed Tory, which prevented Anders from unifying the 5 minds of the final 5 to regain the knowledge of resurrection. Presumably a large chunk of the skin jobs died in the last moments of the colony fight (the Cavil's side certainly was wiped out, as his entire fleet was parked at the colony, and the nuclear missiles from the dead raptor pushed its orbit into the event horizon shortly after galactica jumped to earth.)

All along the watchtower wasn't anything meaningful other than as a method for starbuck to plot the correct jump cords. That it was a well known song has no bearing on the storyline at all, just a cool song.

Well, Homo Sapiens should evolve on any planet that's very similar to earth, so its not that much of a shock.

Starbucks rotting viper/corpse may of been an event to trigger her into finding the way back to earth...the REAL earth, and not the final-five's home planet. Either way, the last Starbuck we all saw, post-juptier, was an angel.
