Watched it. You're lucky I didn't ban you for self-linking.

When you have insomnia and the only thing to watch is a "Behind the Music" of Winger on VH1...yeah.
Now that we've re-introduced ourselves, go watch my video "Virginity Mixtape."
Humo.

I didn't know he was in Playgirl. Funny how you knew that. Fog.
In reply to this comment by thinker247:
You just had to put Winger in the cheesefest, didn't you? Was it because you loved his Playgirl issue so much?
Your Winger can't beat my Swedish metal! Never!

Nirvana - Polly (live)
^while i don't think this is the best thing he ever did i'm sure it was crucial in procurring nirvana's place in culture. without the unplugged session i think people would be more likely to simply remember them as a noisy grunge band. unplugged really helps to establish the music itself. jon brion did an amazing cover of lithium once on his short lived vh1 show that i think does the same thing.
Frankie Goes to Hollywood - Welcome to the Pleasuredome
Acording to the VH1's Behind The Music 1984 rertrospective all of the members of Frankie Goes to Hollywood were openly gay

I created the list a while back but finding songs for it became kind of slow after the initial few songs that immediately come to mind.

So I searched the web a bit and stumbled across a great list over at wikipedia that I stole a few ideas from
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One-hit_wonder
In reply to this comment by EDD:
The really great thing about it is that I bet there's not much of these kinds of list on the net or anywhere. Best thing coming close is some VH1 top. So again, yeah, great job. If I notice a clip like this, I'll make a note of checking whether it's on the list.
Cheers!

Thanks mate!
I have to admit a few had more than one hit, but they certainly have that "one hit wonder" feel to them.
Enjoy watching and if you can think of any that aren´t in there yet let me know.
Cheers,

99 Luftballons (New 2002 Version)
Am I the only one who thinks this song is garbage? I'm definitely upvoting it for the novelty and curiosity factor, but holy crap... it lost all the charm of the original for a completely sterile, horribly generic, VH1 yuppie rock sound.
King Of My Village Trailer
See it tonight on VH1 after the Flavor Flav show. It has better acting and fewer STD's.
Anthrax's Scott Ian fails miserably playing his own song
Lol @ schattdaddy.
anyone who has watched VH1 for more than 20 mins already knows how much of an assclown scott ian is.
Rick Astley (1987) Never Gonna Give You Up
Not a dupe. Raytrace's video is the VH1 "Pop-Up Video" version, with all the annoying little balloons popping up in it. SG's is pop-up free. The only annoying little thing in it is Rick Astley. I say * return, but I'll wait until a few others have weighed in on this heavy issue first.
Superbowl Highlights 2004
Its actually a nipple piercing. How could I possibly know this you ask? Years ago I used to watch pop-up video on VH1, and they were kind enough to point it out to me.
Comedy Central and gold star powers (Sift Talk Post)
i haven't embedded from them, and won't, until they just fucking let people watch.

oh. and it's not CC's fault, directly, imho.
Viacom blows donkeys. (CC, Mtv, Vh1, etc) i think i may have mentioned that earlier elsewhere, but i think smibbo would agree, it
bears repeating.
i wish Stewart, Colbert, Trey Parker, and Matt Stone would start a telethon, to buy CC right out from under Viacom, in a hostile takeover.
maybe i'll make that my next blog entry.
because it's a goddamn shame that half of what i think is the only watchable TV in the states, is owned by tightwad, proprietary, short-sighted fuckwads.
