If the first car had been going 80 km/h, it would have past the semi before the truck even crossed the intersection and would have been able to get his Venti Caramel Moca Latte and smash into the back of a police cruiser at the accident while rubbernecking to see what happend to the second car.

I work at a coffee shop here in Vancouver. It's called Caffe Artigiano. Great coffee, but some idiot decided we should use the Starbucks sizing scheme.
So we have 3 sizes, but not tall, grande, and venti. That would be too easy, probably also copyright infringement. So we have a traditional size (the same as a Starbucks' short), a tall size, and a grande, which are equivalent to their Starbucks counterparts.
It would make sense if "Tall" meant something in Italian like Grande and Venti do, but I digress.
Besides, Starbucks makes some of the shittiest coffee in the world. It also explains why people come into my work and complain the coffee isn't dark enough. It's plenty dark enough, it's just not burnt to shit like Starbucks coffee.

I really wanted to see it take on a Tall Starbucks Mocha Valencia pothole or maybe a half Venti Toffee Nut Latte curb.

but judging from the shaking movements of his hands i don't think that thing is a very stable ride. And because the price is in the range of a segway, it has to compete with that. If i had to decide between the two i would definitively go for the segway.

I bet it's a lot cheaper if you don't get the green lightcycle option.

If you go to http://www.yikebike.com/site/gallery and watch "Testing Video #1" you'll see how it handles common urban and suburban obstacles (potholes, gravel, puddles, curbs). What I found hilarious is that they use the iphone as a unit of measurement. One of the potholes is about half an iphone deep and the curb is a little more than half an iphone.
