Mostly, how they are loaded on ships.

There is another good video out there showing the cable being run from Oregon to Alaska, and it shows the cable laying process very well.

I want to chime in and emphasize: This is game is FUN!

Built an old-style rumanian draculesque mansion last night together with three friends. Had huge fun mining the resources for it. I stole my buddies gold when he yelled "Eureka!" and made a helmet out of it so he would always remember my theft whenever looking at me.

The pressure plate zombie mine is a FANTASTIC idea. Will try it, too! I have plans for some wheat fields right now, my engineering skills are lacking unlike your son's.

Not just clever marketing. This game is really something special. My whole family is in love with it at the moment.

It is hard to explain what makes it awesome, especially since the graphics are so shit - let me try:

  • The Sandbox nature is not unique to gaming by any means, but it's the few gameplay elements that do exist that make things fun in the sandbox.
If you are trapped outside as night falls, you'll find yourself frantically digging a hole in the dirt trying to get any kind of shelter before total darkness falls - it's damn scary - if you get into it.
Light a fire while you are standing too close to it, and you will light yourself on fire and burn 'till you die

  • Although these aren't the physics of our world - a kind of physics does exist. Gravel and Sand have gravity, trees can be chopped down, etc.
  • The Lego factor, while I don't think trumps the exploration factor - is still great. It's easy and fun to build amazing structures - with a large amount of complexity:
