Book of Mormon Opening Performance: 2012 Tony Awards

As much as I disagree with mormonism, it's easy to see what this really is, which is an attack on faith, especially faith in Jesus Christ. They just found a way to caricature it in mormonism. It's really quite a sad thing to watch those people revel in the mockery. Our society has degenerated to such a point where it is socially acceptable to openly ridicule millions of people. While I am concerned for the souls of the mormons, I think this attack on their faith is really quite despicable.

FFS. You know what, I'm too tired to write something significant to this.

Just go wiki "The Book of Mormon(musical)" and scroll down for the churches response. In short, you're in idiot.

Absolutely correct, I was thinking the same thing after I said that.
writer elevates actor - actor elevates writer, director trims the excess.
poor delivery can kill brilliant writing, while poor writing can let an actor down.
It works both ways.

I must admit though, I, as most people, forget about the professional writers behind the scenes that raise these stars up on pedestals the way they do - Kudos to them!

Does the illustrator of the idea deserve less credit than the creator of the idea? Poor deliveries are as much a failure as poor ideas. In the case of writers, they don't get enough credit, but let's not believe a star rises only because of a team of writers. Oftentimes an actor can raise a writer on a pedestal; or a great artist raising a terrible writer. Same thing, really.
And what of the producers who pick out all of the pieces to make a whole? Anyway.
