Olympic Medals Table - Top 15 Nations by Gold Medals (2021)
Something interesting this lead me to check out. Obviously the US seem to dominate the golds, but in the years the USSR competed, they got 395 to America's 373. Each had one home Olympics in that time, in which the other didn't compete.
I haven't gone into this any deeper, I just found it interesting in a 'today I learned' kind of way.

(Today I learned: you can be a ministry of defense and have an official channel on Youtube.)
Basically they went ahead and stormed the ship because the crew had time to retreat to their "safe room" before the pirates took over.
NOVA: Secret of the Wild Child
Crazy. I'm a doctor of clinical psychology, but I just today learned about this girl by way of the recent VSauce episode! And here's the NOVA episode about her. Strange coincidence...

And today I learned a new way to beat the dust out of the rugs, I wonder if that would work for futons as well?
YOU learn something NEW every DAY ! (Talks Talk Post)
Today I learned that I don't like Nicholas Cage as an actor. Though there are many artists that I dislike, there are relatively few that I didn't dislike immediately, that I have tolerated for so many years, and then suddenly develop or realize a deep-seated dislike for their works. The only other one that I can think of is Elton John. Queen was like that for me too, but after a shorter period of time. I stopped liking them when I was in High School. I stopped liking Elton John when I worked for a month in a kitchen where Elton John was the chef's favourite. And I stopped liking Nicholas Cage today when I saw The Lord Of Death. Great movie, shame it had to be Nick Cage. The script and production were great, the material was on the page. The Lord of Death could have been an academy award winning role. But instead they got Nick Cage.

And it was wude[sic!] of the lady to park in the middle of the road!
Her car didn't break down... As the bus didn't stop. Because it made it through it is obvious that the female parked there voluntarily.
I am appaled at your choice of words! That was very very rude. Bork to you too sir!
Here is some great Swedish music. (I even translated the lyrics for you)
