The first word said is "Pierre!", from Singin' in the Rain
"Pay the man his money" is from Rounders
the man carrying the little boy into the dining room is a reference to Bob Cratchet and Tiny Tim (A Christmas Carol)
the painting on the wall in the living room is a Monet from The Thomas Crown Affair
and I can't be sure, but at :25, that looks like a Chucky Doll (Child's Play) in the background, left side of screen.

Musician Tiny Tim died on November 30th, 1996, aged variously 64 to 66. He had been hospitalized in September after falling off of a stage during a ukelele festival. Tiny Tim gained fame for his "Tiptoe Through the Tulips" rendition, and for the spectacle of marrying Vicki Budinger on the Tonight Show, 1969.
