Siftquistions (Sift Talk Post)
This is unconstitutional. CommunistSift is going down a road that Obama has paved with bad intentions. First Choggie gets unfairly victimized, than CP420 invokes the *gay tag, more drama around here than a TNT original series. I think America needs Sarah Palin in these trying times. And that's all I have to say about that.
What Are Your Top 5 Books? (Books Talk Post)
>> ^gwiz665:
Ooh, the Dune Series was great too, but I sort of lost interest by the fifth and sixth book. I never finished the sixth one, was that Chapterhouse Dune?
Chapterhouse is incomplete anyway. Herbert never finished it and leaves lots of subplots unresolved. A rather unsatisfying ending to the great (original!) series.
Kirk fights Khan

Where are your nu-cle-ar wessels?
Of all the Treks, this one's my favorite. Yes, Khan is still the best story-wise and perfect in it's implementation of the original series, but I liked this one solely for the exploration into the comedic side of Star Trek. Ranks up there with some of the best sci-fi comedies like Galaxy Quest and The Ice Pirates.
Beware the Sleestak
*promote, for the wicked awesome green screen effect and the original series star trek villains.

Which show... Star Trek: The original series? ...Because that's what is being advertised.

I second that!
I was replying to Catalyst's comment. It's TOS since he said Spock.

Pfft, Picard kicks ass anyways.

Awesome! Love the point AND the way he made it!
And he's from Oregon - we're crazy out here (or at least we like our TOS Star Trek.)
Oh, and Legacy - you've never seen the original series? We can't be friends anymore.
There are Klingons the White house!!

You Could Cut the Tension With A Knife. Or a Samurai Sword.
You're last tag is 100% on-target: This show was WAY under-appreciated. I don't know why Cartoon Network canceled it, but it was one of their best original series ever.
Starship Exeter Bridge Tour
I watched the first episode they produced a couple of years ago (The Savage Empire). It's amazing how they kept the exact look & feel of the original series. Most of the other fan-made films are heavy on CGI and feel more like the follow-on series.
If you're in the mood, give it a watch!

Hulk vs. Thor
This is actually from a series of Hulk TV movies that aired many years after the original series ended. There were two more, just as awful; one with Daredevil and another with the Black Widow where the Hulk "died".
There is now a Thor feature film in the works with what's supposed to be a great script. New Hulk and Iron Man movies are due in 2008.
