Based on how I wrote this comment it's pretty obvious that I believe I fall under #2, but often I wonder who is really happier; those who struggle or those who are naive?

There's another problem with America Avokineok, as evidenced on this site and that is;

Those who lambaste Rupert Murdoch's abortion, fail to see that they are equally as distracted and led like apes by the other worthless news cunts churning out issue after issue, or other complete scat disguised as something you should have an opinion about. They can;t help it, they have been bred to go for this team or that one, one camp or the other, and are to overworked and indoctrinated to care about the world of the real.

Thanks for the info. That's something I really like about Videosift: This is a place where people use arguments. Actually, that's something what really sets it apart from other online video websites.. I won't react on YouTube vids, because it's useless and there is no real debate there.. Just namecalling.

It's not true that most people take Fox News that seriously. Of a country of 300+ million people, they average somewhere between 2 and 5 million viewers on any given night (depending on the source), which is about equal to the viewership of all of the other 'liberal' channels combined. The Daily Show has about 1.5-2 million viewers every night.
The real fact is that most people 1) just don't care and 2) trust neither the government nor the media.
Edit: More random numbers, for comparison: 5-year-old reruns of Futurama regularly got ~1 million viewers at 1 am on a channel that shows only cartoons.

Dear Internet,

Why does Coco waste so much of NBC's hard earned money? It takes dedication and a massive amount of planning to screw people out of contracts and remove talented Late Night Show Hosts to swing the ratings in your favor in order for the money to come pouring in. It just isn't fair.

Frankly I simply don't know why so many people find this guy funny. He's almost as boring as Letterman is. Conan is THE host of the 21st century and as the audience ages and more and more younger people start watching late night shows, they will realize they lost their ONLY chance at a #1 spot in the next decade +.

Course it doesn't help that when Conan took over Late Night, NBC told him he had to cool his act down a bit and took half his good stuff and threw it in the gutter saying he could never use it on The Tonight Show. It's like they had a noose around his neck for months and if he did anything out of line they'd shit-can him. And it only took 7 months for it to happen.

Well done. Also his comment about what his show is compared to the other late night shows near the beginning of all that had me actually laughing.

That right there is why The Daily Show has won the late night Emmy 7 years in a row. Nobody else goes into that much depth on a subject. Hell almost every other late night show is nothing but cracking a few jokes on 'todays hot topic' and doing a 'bla' interview on an actor that has the same boring questions every single interview.

With The Daily show they go into depth and their interviews are thought provoking and leave watchers thinking and they are not afraid to bust some balls like this. As long as they continue to be this deep and well made they will continue to win that Emmy while every single other late night show looses.

Y'know, if it happens on the Late Show, it must've also been happening on the the other late night shows (Carson, Leno, O'Brien, Ferguson, Kimmel, Fallon, Daly...)

I remember him doing some late night show where he was asked about doing the Joker voice, and he couldn't do it for very long in front of an audience. Its an extremely animated (har har) character, that he's not comfortable performing in front an audience at all.

"Too Late with Adam Carolla" was too short-lived. The studio segments had some of the worst production and planning you could have in a late night show, and if I remember correctly he was filming another short-lived TV show at the time, "The Adam Carolla Project," and still doing radio every day. Too much on one plate even for Carolla's massive talent.
