On MSNBC, hosts Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow have been tittering over the similarity of the name "tea parties" to an obscure homosexual sexual practice known as "tea bagging." Night after night, they sneer at Republicans for being so stupid as to call their rallies "tea bagging."

Every host on Air America and every unbathed, basement-dwelling loser on the left wing blogosphere has spent the last week making jokes about tea bagging, a practice they show a surprising degree of familiarity with.

Except no one is calling the tea parties "tea bagging" -- except Olbermann and Maddow. Republicans call them "tea parties."

Texas isn't run exclusively by Democrats, while California is. Guess which state is bankrupt, with a $41 billion deficit, a credit rating that was slashed to junk-bond status and a middle class now located in Arizona?

I think I'm going to buy one tea bag for every soldier killed in the wars that have cost our country billions of dollars. Then I'm going to send those tea bags to Fox News and ask them why they didn't hold these parties for the past eight fucking years.

This country is the laughing stock of the world.

Can I just say that everyone I tea bagged today thought I was making some sort of political statement. Very annoying. Totally ruined the sweet pleasure that comes with teabagging.

I'm really starting to think there's a massive right wing gay conspiracy. First there's this ad http://www.videosift.com/video/There-is-a-Homosexual-Storm-Gathering which tells us that our only defense against gay marriage is a "rainbow coalition". Shortly after republicans discover tea bagging and can't get enough of it. Now they're pushing the millions for marriage (M4M) movement. It's like their own think tanks are screwing with them.

I just never liked the show. The writing never seemed to be that good to me, and the acting at times is questionable.

Even in this clip, I found none of it funny, and the "Revelation" on why it's called tea-bagging just seemed so..fake.

Only the phrase "tea bagging" is political in that some conservatives are trying to re-enact the boston tea party by getting people to send tea bags to the white house - and they call it tea bagging.... which is hillarious because I don't think they know what it means and would probably be horrified.
