I gave up after a couple of minutes, but it looks to me like all he's doing is falling into water while being totally rad and extreme, dude! If I strapped on a kite in super-stormy weather, I'd probably land face first in the ocean, too, at some point. I'd probably die in the process, so points should be awarded to him for avoiding any Darwin Award scenarios, but I'd be more impressed if he actually stuck a landing or two and did some cool tricks while in the air.

But he doesn't. Half of the time he crashes and half of the time the "landing" is edited out, presumably because he crashes there as well. Meh.

Whatever you do don't get wasted. I wouldn't recommend alcohol at all, unpredictable people in airplane conditions lead to extra landings. Get a pair of noise canceling earbuds and listen to classical music the whole flight. That's what was played in the cabin when I was on a flight landing in "stormy" weather.

In fact, you're pretty safe in there. Ok, I must admit that old lighthouses aren't tight (is it the right word ?), but renovations and new materials keep you dry. By the way, with a stormy weather, it's not cautious to stay in the lamp chamber as you never know if a debris from the sea will crush it.

The Ekranoplan is basically an plane, but its massive lifting power comes from 2 technologies, the first being plane lift technology, and Ekranoplan effect (BTW in The US/UK this is called Ground Effect).

That's an awesome song (Joe Jackson did a cover) but it's The Jumpin' Jive, not Stormy Weather (which is a personal favorite).
