This is why they made Tasers
I suspect that it's from one of those 'news' shows over-dramatically narrated by someone like Robert Stack or William Shatner. The "everyman" Bruce Springsteen music is okay, but I agree that I'd like to see the video start to finish, sequential-like.
Internal Microsoft Vista SP1 Video?
Bruce Springsteen should take Microsoft to court over this. No jury in the land would side with Microsoft after seeing this crime against humanity.
We should sue YouTube just for letting this be posted.
"I Loved Her More In Her Everyday Clothes"
Lovely. Comes across as a little Lou Reed, a little Bruce Springsteen.

Hi! I decided on the subs because of the content (which indeed is a bit lost in the translation, e.g. "don't feel like going from the snow" - "vom Schnee")
which non-German listeners often don't get. A lot of people don't even listen to the lyrics (e.g. Springsteen's "Born in the USA" is a point in case)..
best regards,Eklek

Thanks for the follow-up. Personally, I probably would have just sifted the full un-subbed video. I've gotten used to listening to German so far and seeing them in fat suits is pretty awesome. Oh well, it's always enlightening (and a little disappointing) to see Rammstein translations.
In reply to this comment by Eklek:
Yes, you're right. Apart from the short and long version, there's the longer version with flame throwers, enjoy:

..unfortunately without subtitles. Well, the ultimate would be a long flame thrower version with English/German subtitles..
In reply to this comment by Aemaeth:
Wait, there weren't any flamethrowers in the final video you posted before. We got ripped off.

Bruce Springsteen Joins A Busker To Sing One Of His Songs
Bruce Springsteen actually lives in out-of-focus areas like bigfoot. It's a widely believed fact!
This is way cool.
Bruce Springsteen: Darkness on the Edge of Town
This is the ultimate Springsteen. I swear he's got the best rock and roll show of just about anyone I've ever seen. Ok, maybe The Stones have him beat there, but if you ever wanted to get a little hint about why Springsteen has such rabid fans... here it is.
Patti Smith: Because the Night
And written by Bruce Springsteen. Now 'nuff said
Blinded by the Light - Manfred Mann
Here's some more info from Wikipedia on the lyrics:
The chorus of the song features the commonly misunderstood lyric, "Blinded by the light, cut loose like a deuce, another runner in the night." ("Deuce" refers to a '32 Ford Deuce Coupe.) Many listeners hear the word "douche" in place of "deuce." Manfred Mann's Earth Band changed this line slightly to "revved up like a deuce" (often misquoted as "wrapped up like a douche") and repeated it much more frequently in their version than Springsteen did in the original; they also omitted parts of the verses and rearranged the order of the remaining lyrics.
10,000 Maniacs - Because the Night; MTV Unplugged '94
I don't think that kind of song is a good match for her voice but always nice to hear a bit of Springsteen.
Bruce Springsteen Joins A Busker To Sing One Of His Songs
I live in Copenhagen and, while I did not witness this performance, the story of it is widely told here so I think it is true. I didn't know there was a video though! I definitely recognize both Bruce Springsteen and the street ( Strøget, the down-town pedestrian mall).

BTW, the song is 'The River'.

The Carlton Dance, a Retrospective
I read somewhere that Alfonso Ribiero started doing this as a young guy making fun of Courtney Cox dancing with Bruce Springsteen in "Dancing in the Dark" and he was inspired by Eddie Murphy's "white people can all do this one dance real good" bit.
