Sounds like people don't like to question their daily dose of propaganda, 'round here. 'Spose if that's what you've been spoon-fed since diapers, it's a bit like taking the baby's pacifier away. I think this video raises some really good points and if we don't question the trash we feed our kids, there's no hope for cultural change in what can best be described as a cultural wasteland, as far as I'm concerned.

Agreed, personally i think it's too late to rouse whatever small percentage of the population is left who knows or cares about anything beyond paris hilton, american idol, or waving the flag, and turn them into an _effective_ movement that could actually change things.

As a last gasp of futility i 'spose one could write-in Ron Paul's name in the upcoming election.

Till i'd worked out that they were talking about handicapped people, it did just seem a little elementary (hence the creepy sensation, I spose). Once that was out of the way, I found it pretty tasteful and mature with its message.

The message that teachers should not try to project moral rules about sex on the student is something I think applies across the board. I refer squarly to the 'Abstinence' debauchary that's going on in the US today.

truely, but trust me, of all the videos available this one was the best, because it has the best zoom.
Every video I found had people shaking their cameras, guys in the background going "Honey I missed it, didn't take a single shot cos of this stupid camera" or "Throw us a beer...".

KaiEr, in my meagre grasp of the concepts of rifling physics - rifling provides stability to the projectile in flight, making it more resistant to external forces. Such as crosswinds, for example.

Picture how a spinning top is able to 'stand up' while it's rotating. The force that would want it to fall over in one direction is counteracted by it's 'gyroscopic' forces in the other directions. You can even knock it a little and it will still try to stay up (if it's spinning fast enough )

Old 'smooth bore' weapons like muskets and flintlock pistols were inaccurate because their shots weren't protected by gyroscopic effects and were blown all over by the wind/rain/etc (also they weren't hugely aerodynamic or propelled quite as fast).
