Those laws are meaningless as federal law would trump them were a nontheist to ever run for office. Unfortunately, this whole scenario is entirely moot as a nontheist doesn't have a snowman's chance in hell to win in California*, Massachusetts, or New York, let alone the midwestern and southern states that have these laws.

*with the exception of Pete Stark (D - CA)

I'm having a hard time understanding how a gigantic snowman is anything other than awesome.

for snowman, I think it should be someone with an atmosphere of potential greatness, but fragile, and a wide range of looks, like a groomed ad-industry chameleon who loses his sense of self with the apocalypse, and devolves into a bearded hermit. Adrien Brody minus 10 years?

I'm not sure what to respond to that, having related so heavily to Crake... hmmm... i don't know who would make a good crake though... I suppose it would depend on who played Snowman. and Oryx (Shannyn Sossammon? except she doesn't act very well).

Also, the dancing, indigo-penised crakers would definitely never make it to film.
