Time-lapse/Slow motion channel (Sift Talk Post)
I know it's not that snappy, but I'd just call it either *timelapse or *slowmotion. One of my pet peeves about the sift is the amount of channels with ambiguous but "clever" names that just serve to confuse people, particularly people who are new to the site.
New channel suggestions welcome! (News Talk Post)
*timelapse for slowmotion and such.
Potential *TimeLapse Channel Up for Bids (Sift Talk Post)
Plastiquemonkey has a timelapse selection playlist
http://www.videosift.com/playlists/plastiquemonkey/TimelapseSelection
It's a bit too specific to have a timelapse channel I think.
*time would quite broad I think, as many clips do have fastforward-rewind/slowmotion/edits/flashforwards/flashbacks etc.
And we do have * history
There are channels that are much more in need
e.g. *news, *homme, *presentation/lecture, *electronica etc.

If you have a VideoSift pet peeve lets hear it. I'll start. (Sift Talk Post)
@SG: of course I'm not talking about old videos. There are MANY perfectly new videos with awful quality without reason. Especially screwed aspect ratios, or lame editing.
I'm not talking only about video quality, but overall quality (stupid text added, useless slowmotions where not needed, etc.)
@karaidl: lol! too lazy to change pic, sorry
How to wake your girlfriend (:10 sec)
that's a good example of a video where the replay slowmotion is a good idea.
if they turned off the audio it would have been better, though.
Dog attacks toilet
the slowmotion takes more than half of the video and is completely useless
Cool video of billiard balls in slow motion and infrared
Everythin's better in SlowMotion I guess
Best Crash Tests Ever - Sausages and other national edibles
I suspect it's filmed in slowmotion.
