Chris Matthews: Dems Shouldn't Have to Apologize for Winning

Chris Matthews: Dems Shouldn't Have to Apologize for Winning

Considering how despicably and unfairly the MSM treated George W. Bush, no wonder Chris is nervous. Or maybe he's always snorted Vivarin.

You are out of your fucking head.
Two wars, thousands of troops dead, tens of thousands maimed for life, millions of civilians killed, bruatlized, and forgotten...not to mention the mountain of debt, a ruined economy, lies, spying and, yes, TORTURE.
Bush got a free pass and if there were any justice in this land his ass would be in a sling.

same thing with Slick Willie, except with women, money, and cruise missiles...but like Bush, no one really cares/d

Clinton: Obama Asked Me To Tell Him What To Do About Economy

The Bathrooms Of America. (NSFW) [UPDATED] (Blog Entry by dystopianfuturetoday)

Oh man. From Dag's link: "The Bulldog Saloon is located in downtown Whitefish Montana. We are now a smoke free establishment, bring the kids!

"Mommy? What are those pictures?"

I was in a truck-stop in Arkansas once and they had "Slick Willy" condoms in the machine, with a joke about 'preventing unwanted dress stains' on them. Those are the cheapest, nastiest prophylactics going. It is sensible to have them available, though.

^ my15 - agreed. My point is simply that a person with integrity would either decline to answer a question about his sex life or his drug use or simply admit it and face the issue head on... and at worst, dodge the issue. But to outright lie about it? Or try to under oath? It's offensive and we should hold all politicians to a higher standard than that. The tragedy is that Clinton was a good president and I'd have voted for him again without blinking if he'd simply been straightforward instead of lying in the hope he'd never get caught. Tony Blair complained that he could never get Clinton to commit to doing anything and was relieved when Bush took office because he felt like Bush would make promises, and then follow through on them. Clinton's nickname was "slick willy" for good reason.

You want to see integrity? Watch Barack Obama in this clip (I don't think I sifted it, so you're welcome to if you wish):

Bill Clinton Responds to 9/11 Conspiracy Theorist Heckler

Dennis Kucinich on impeachment, MSNBC (Nov 06, 2007)

quantumushroom says...

qm, lying to the country is illegal even if your strange assessment of the "success" of the invasion is correct.

The only mistake in taking out saddam was we didn't level iran first.

as for giving iran the "smackdown"... well, you can't fucking afford it.

A few dozen Raptors over Tehran and the shadow of one B-2 is all it would take, just like Israel kicked Syria's ass from the air(also underreported).

Oh and while you're at it could you please illustrate some of this "alternate history of the past eight years" you refer to?

1) Claims that Bush "stole" the election when in fact it was the taxocrats who tried to steal it
2) Bush "knew" about 9-11...or planned it (not worthy of any response deeper than "Koo-koo!")
3) After 12 years of sanctions and an entire world intelligence community agreeing saddam had wmds (which he did, since he used them) claiming that poor saddam was "illegally attacked".
4) Slick Willie "did everything in his power" to answer muslim terrorist attacks in the 90s.
5) Islam is a 'religion of peace' the government is picking on.
6) Non-stop doomsaying over how Iraqi thugs were going to defeat the world's finest armed forces.
7) Deliberate (what-liberal-media?) blackout of any positive news from Iraq
Sandbagging Gen. Petraeus.
9) Hillary supports the war unless the crowd she's bowing to opposes it.
10) Terrorists at Gitmo are being "held without trial" (even tho US law doesn't apply to them).
11) The Patriot act has led to rampant eavesdropping on regular joes and internment camps, etc.

Liberal alternate history: a negative, half-baked fairy tale focused only on greed, exploitation and cynicism, sold to neo-hippies by paleo-hippies, both who've never been hungry for more than a day and therefore have no understanding of what privation really is, resulting in no gratitude, no shame, no nothin' except hatred for Bush.

Bill Clinton Talks about Bin Laden on Letterman

Liar, weasel, criminal.. That's the top US Justice official

reason says...

What's the big deal about firing a few attorneys. Your hero slick willie fired all of them to cover the firing of the arkansas attorney for investigating the white water deal. You liberal types deserve what you get. Look for example at your two shining examples of democrat control. New Orleans and Michigan. Oh wait, one is still totally corrupt and the other is ranked dead last on the economic scale of the states, possibly because of all the taxes imposed by the "freedom loving" dems. excuse me for thinking I know better how to spend my money than some lousy democrat who only wants to tax me to death.

Countdown Special Comment: Bush, Cheney Should Resign

>>> I dislike Olbermann, an insincere, smarmy prick if ever there ever was one on the air. I can't believe even the leftists who like his op-eds can stand him. Keep an eye on him here:

http://www.olbermannwatch.com/

>>> I hate to begin with Slick Willie, but all this concern over the Libby non-issue weighs less than a feather when compared to the last-day-in-office pardons of Bubba.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Clinton_pardons_controversy

>>> Reviews of recent history demonstrate to me that Democrats, the silly cult of personalities they are, don't give a rat's patoot about the rule of law. There's also the fiasco with Gonzalez over the dismissal of U.S. Attorneys in 2006, which was perfectly legal. Why Gonzalez, who did nothing wrong, didn't tell critics to politely f-off is beyond me. But he didn't, and now he too is stuck in a pointless Democrat snare wasting time, money and energy over a non-issue.

I voted for bush, I'll admit it. I've even defended several of his questionable decisions, even though I was over in the Gulf myself at the time. To my knowledge, Mr. Libby's supposed "crime" about revealing in identity of a CIA member wasn't necessarily a crime at all, because the CIA member wasn't even an agent. They were not someone who was in deep cover, if anyone wanted to find out who they were, it would be a simple matter of looking them up.

>>> I believe you are correct in your assessment of the Libby fiasco. To me it was nothing more than a political witch hunt.

Perhaps I'm wrong about what happened with the CIA member and Mr. Libby, but the very fact that Bush would release that man from jail before the appeals process had even started is against everything this justice system was created for. It is in a word : wrong. To the very core of the word.

>>> Libbygate means little or nothing to me; whether the man goes free or rots in prison has no bearing on the fate of the country. Keeping the scum in Gitmo locked up is more important.

>>> I voted for Bush, or rather, against these socialist tools the Victicrats keep offering up. Yeah, Bush has let all of us down one way or another, it's true. He's really a liberal with a few conservative tendencies. He's failed to secure the border, failed to vaporize what needs vaporizing in the Middle East and though he wouldn't have much pull even if he was for ending Drug Prohibition, his past abuses of alk and coke have left no mark of compassion on failed drug policy for those still being locked up for life over a joint.
For all his faults, Bush is nowhere close to being the chimera the moonbat left has tried to create of him. Why should I take anything the left has to say seriously? They remain in complete denial over the war on islamofascism and how tax cuts create wealth.

>>> Hamilton said corruption was the grease of democracy. Focus on what matters to you.

2007 TED Prize Winner Bill Clinton

quantumushroom says...

Around 23:45 Slick Willie mentions WMDs and no one makes a peep.

If only the terrorists had carried sugary, child-fattening soft drinks along with their bombs throughout the many unanswered attacks on the USA during the 90s, maybe THEN Bubba would've done a real President's job.

Bill Clinton in major showdown with Fox News anchor.INTENSE!

quantumushroom says...

They don't call him "Slick Willie" for nothing. Bill Clinton is a wonderful orator who disgraced the Office of the President and did jack squat for national defense. Were it not for Perot, he would've lost in '92 and much of today's hells might've been avoided. History will recognize Clinton for promoting an upward cigar trend and getting sugary soft drinks out of government schools. Good for him!
