No substantial questions at all, nothing asking about whether Dita has seen a shift in public acceptance of Burlesque, the difference between burlesque and stripping, whether she's encountered negative reactions to her profession... etc. etc. etc.

Plus, it's kinda old, being that here she had just got married to MM.

The funny thing is that I totally agree with you that the US shouldn’t keep supporting an Israel that insists in (inter alia) violating UN resolutions, but I’m afraid that this particular documentary doesn’t get the point across and could easily be interpreted as too anti-Israel or, even worse, as anti-semitic (which usually happens if one mixes up Jews and Israeli’s). I don't have any harmful desires to incite others to fulfill. At least not anything I couldn't do myself, if I was so inclined. I admire him, not for the murders, but for his ability to bring people into his circle with his flair for personality. I also admire David Koresh, Jim Jones, L. Ron Hubbard, Marshall Applewhite, and a myriad of other people who found a way to trick the gullible. I don't admire what they did with their powers, but I still must applaud them for using people who are begging to be used.

The people I do not admire are those who followed the leaders. The gullible, the weak-minded, the easily-distracted lemmings who beg for anybody to relieve them of their need for self-guidance. I feel nothing but anger and contempt for people who sit on the edge of their seat, awestruck and dazed by the words of an orator. Hamas' charter calls for a withdrawal from all land occupied by Isreal since 1967, the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem. That is their legitimate goal and attacks sanctioned by Hamas are against military targets on occupied Palestinian territory. Attacks inside Isreal are not sanctioned by Hamas and are condemned by Hamas.

The unilateral withdrawal offered by Sharon that you mention was in fact a 10 year truce mediated by Jimmy Carter in return for complete withdrawal of Isreal forces from the occupied lands taken in 1967, and a return to the 1967 borders. Isreal never responded to it.

Hamas then offered another truce in June this year mediated by Egypt. They have agreed to stick to the timetable but will continue to respond to Isreali attacks. Isreal didn't respond to that either.

In 2006 Hamas announced it would cease all violence if Isreal recognised the 1967 borders and withdrew from occupied territory.

I hope you are seeing the parallels with the Irish struggle.

If you are talking about why I down voted the video, it's because junk like like that doesn't deserve to be sifted. It's nothing but rich celebrities with a dead cockroach for brains thinking that by jumping on any social/global issue bandwagons makes them some how superior... without knowing the full details. Now there are exceptions to that. But here we just have a typical case of bandwagon moron. Just listening to her talk makes me cringe. "being mean to 'the Dalai Lama', that's not nice, he is my friend!"? I mean come the fuck on! How the fuck is that "KARMA"! What do the people that boycotted the event or the trochrelay can accomplish? Sure the events will profit the "evil chinese goverment" at the same time it is prvoiding opportunities for average Chinese with jobs, commerce etc. That the world has become a smaller place, they are able to see how far a long they have come, creating incentives for them to change whats around them and reaching out. And at the very least providing some entertainment to those who are less fortunate. Boycotting is like saying we know theres a problem and we are no pleased so we are not going to be part of it there! and then does nothing.
