Lol. Yeah, that’s me. Mr establishment.

Working for the cia!? Hardly. Page had been approved several years earlier as an “operational contact” for the CIA, a term for people who provide information to the agency that they gather but are not paid or tasked with carrying out assignments. Basically a confidential informant….what crime were they letting slide to compel that one wonders. Still, that should not have been hidden when applying for a warrant extension, a 3rd and 4th warrant whose fruits were never used and voluntarily sequestered btw, the first two were deemed legal proper warrants.

The Steel dossier was compiled for Republicans during the primary. Most of the charges it levied or suggested have been proven, but not all. All know this but some people need to cling onto this lie, fools like you that need everything to be a convoluted conspiracy because then it’s ok that you don’t understand what’s happening.

Muller has said clearly he found obstruction by Trump and Barr lied and covered it up. At least 8 Trump officials were found guilty of crimes Mueller uncovered among others, I believe 36, since you don’t seem to know that any crimes were found, here’s some…
(List from 2020)
Former Trump 2016 campaign chairman Paul Manafort: Sentenced to 7.5 years in prison this March for bank and tax fraud and crimes related to his work as a political consultant in Ukraine.
Trump's former personal attorney Michael Cohen: Received a three-year prison sentence in Dec. 2018 for tax evasion, bank fraud, lying to Congress and campaign finance violations.
Former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos: Convicted of lying to investigators about about Russian contacts. He served 12 days in prison and in October, filed to run for former Rep. Katie Hill's California seat.
Richard Pinedo: The California man was sentenced to six months in prison in Oct. 2018 for selling bank account numbers to Russians who engaged in election interference. He has no known connection to Trump.
Dutch attorney Alex van der Zwaan: Pleaded guilty to lying to federal investigators about his work for law firm Skadden, Arps, Meagher, & Flom LLP and Affiliates in 2012. He was sentenced to 30 days in prison and a $20,000 fine.
Ex-Trump campaign deputy chairman Rick Gates: Pleaded guilty in Feb. 2018 to conspiracy and lying to the FBI. After cooperating extensively in multiple investigations, Gates was sentenced in December to 45 days in jail, three years of probation and 300 hours of community service.
Roger Stone: Sentenced to 40 months in prison for crimes that include obstruction of justice, lying to Congress and witness tampering. A federal jury convicted Stone last year after he lied to Congress about his efforts to learn more about when WikiLeaks would publish damaging emails about Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential election.
Awaiting sentencing:

Former national security adviser Michael Flynn: The retired three-star general pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI in Dec. 2017.

ROTFLMAHS!!! WHAT!?! Are you having a stroke?

Man still schilling for the deep state.

Page had been wrongly accused and was, in fact, working for the CIA, not the Russians.

The Steele dossier was 100% fabricated. All know this but some people need to cling onto this lie, Fools like you.

Muller spent 40 Million and found nothing but low hanging fruit. Again a Big fat ZERO .

Again take you head out of you ass and wipe that shit off you face. You are a fool on the sift.

you a Mr 100% my shit is facts--- No Nope Nada Zip.

Try again….ask your handler to double check your English. This word salad is completely unintelligible and indigestible.

Ashley Babbitt. Traitor?

Let me attempt to translate….
Is Hunter Biden’s laptop a real story? No. Is it a real laptop? Yes. It it proven the data on it is really Hunter Biden’s? No. It it proven the data on it was really tampered with by republicans trying to create a story about a private citizen who is a relative of a political enemy? Yes.

Was January 6 a real (failed) seditious insurrection? Yes, absolutely, there are convictions on that charge if your eyes and ears aren’t enough to convince you. Attempting to stop the transfer of power so the election loser can retain power is how many coups happen.
Was it just a bunch of people with a few misfits in the bunch, absolutely not, it was a planned, “called up” violent mob directed by the ex president with the intent being to stop the transfer of power by “getting wild” with violent trial by combat and fighting hard by any means necessary, and they came WELL ARMED.

Covid masks BS or a useful tool against pandemic spreads? When used properly, the latter…but not a perfect panecea just like seatbelts don’t stop all traffic deaths. Proper universal mask use and social distancing could have prevented as many as half of cases in the US.

Covid hospitalization rate <3% or way way higher? The last reports I recall I think said around 3% of the overall population, but much higher among just adults….over 10% in some age categories. Were hospitals over run with patients to the point deathly ill people were sent home to die. Absolutely, for months, causing tens of thousands of preventable deaths….what you call a “nothing burger”.

Now you want random political questions as red herrings? Fine.

Biden. Above average president, not great but astonishing on jobs. He beat Trump, so he’s successful no matter what.
Biden mentally fit. Absolutely. Just gave the best, quickest, most intelligent SOU in recent memory, not a rambling self congratulatory stream of consciousness we got before Biden.

Trans surgery for minors? Not a real thing, a fantasy the right invented to be outraged over, like CRT. IF it were a real thing, which again it is NOT, it should be a decision between the minor, it’s parents, mental health professionals, and their physician…not the government that the right wants making medical decisions for citizens now. Reality is surgery is not done on minors unless absolutely medically necessary, only reversible chemical treatments. Another right wing fantasy. I bet you’re ok with fake boobs for teen girls though.

“Trans ideology” (define that) in the classroom? Not a real thing, but inclusion acceptance and tolerance in the classroom, absolutely undeniably good at all grade levels.

Newsom good or bad? Yes, both….but far more god than bad….$52 billion SURPLUS last year…hundreds of millions allocated to mental health programs to service and house homeless.

Now, do you have the spine to answer just one? I guarantee you don’t,snowflake.
Ashley Babbitt, treasonous insurrectionist cunt who violently smashed her way into the chambers before being properly shot by the police she was actively threatening/innocent victim of Biden?

bobknight33 said:

Wow, you are un-hinged.
Biden laptop? real?
Jan 6 a true insurrection of just a bunch of people, with some misfits in the group?

Covid masks BS or truly need.?
Covid hospitalization rate <3% or or way higher? Joe B. Great POTUS / Average/ below Average?
Joe B Fit to be POTUS or mentally lacking and should not be POTUS

Trans surgery for minors? Good or bad?
Trans ideology in the classroom? Good or Bad?

Governor Newsom Good or Bad?

Tulsi Gabbard on the Weaponization of Federal Government

newtboy says...

Lol. Disgraced political windsock and homophobic cultist Tulsi Gabbard…not exactly a paragon of truth bobby.

Someone’s opinion about her spreading lies is now, in her mind, not acceptable and akin to censorship. How dare they call her an anti authority, racist, homophobe, and traitor for supporting anti authority, racist, homophobic, and traitorous statements and actions.

Twitter and Facebook blocked Republicans from posting explicit revenge porn and dick pics, allegedly of private citizen Biden, because they violated longstanding terms of service. Republicans cannot admit this, so they hide exactly what was blocked and claim it was just information about the private citizen relative of their political rival, so fair game…but don’t dare try it against us, our families and finances are off limits.
She’s lying, again, they did not say it was wrong…Elon did when he misrepresented it as the Trump government forcing them to do Biden’s political bidding….simply nonsense he made up. Better, she has no problem with the actual censorship BY the Trump administration that demanded posters be banned for simply saying something unflattering about Trump or suffer the wrath of the federal government.

Such a windbag, willing to say anything to retain a bit of clout with the braying morons.

EMTs charged with murder

robdot says...

Cities use private ambulances simply because it’s cheaper than using much higher paid professional firefighter medics.

And professional firefighter medics are not gonna work for private service wages, so, private services are getting the bottom of the barrel. Like you see here.

Cities all over America are slowly getting rid of private services. And accepting the fact that they have to pay professionals. Often it takes something to happen though. Like this.

EMTs charged with murder

noims says...

I was going to start off saying that the whole concept of a private ambulance company - an essential service run for profit that so obviously benefits the wealthy over the poor - is so alien to me that it feels wrong to my core.

Then I read your comment and thought that the training really is at the heart of this. Were they sufficiently trained and managed to know that this could/would kill?

This is not a rhetorical question.

If they were paid little and/or forced to work long shifts so they're facing this while tired enough not to think/care, then I blame the company and, by association, the system. If they were well trained and had no genuine excuse (rather than reason) for their behaviour then I blame them.

The reality probably isn't as cut-and-dried as I present it above, but there's definitely a spectrum of blame to be considered.

newtboy said:

[...] Their training means they absolutely knew what they did would kill someone in his condition. No question. This wasn’t even depraved indifference, it was pure premeditated callous torturous murder.

Shocking, Santos/Ravache/Devolver’s charity for pets is also pure fraud. Just one example, in 2016 he, as Devolver, raised $3k on go fund me for one service dog of a homeless disabled vet, Richard Osthoff, then stole the money and closed the go fund me account. The dog did not get treatment and died of its treatable cancer. Not an isolated incident.
Every day there’s more evidence the RNC and house members including McCarthy knew about all these frauds before the election and hid them from you, their voters, because they believe you’re a sucker that deserves nothing better than to be duped into electing criminal fraudsters.
Edit: a new alias, Kitara Ravache, is his drag queen name….he was a drag Queen while on the run in Brazil. Er mer gerd, he’s the fraud that keeps on giving.

These is you guys. These you pick.

newtboy said:

Also, big surprise, George Santos has direct ties to sanctioned Russian oligarchs, which explains where his campaign and personal finances got millions in funding….also big surprise, McCarthy promised to seat him on multiple committees because ethics, morals, laws, and patriotism have no place in the MAGA Republican Party.

Rub-roe.
Turns out most Trump businesses report earnings exactly the same amount as their tax exempt expenses to the penny….so paid zero corporate taxes. Somehow the irs under Trump didn’t see a thing odd about that.
This includes, among dozens of companies he claimed made exactly what they spent, the llc that owns his trumpforceone plane, the plane he charged the secret service exorbitantly to ride, millions of dollars in charges, it claimed $7382 in expenses and zero income….so claimed a business loss (and certainly asked for a refund) and zero income despite billing the government for millions.
Funny, Melania also has “business expenses” that exactly match her modeling income to the penny. Filing jointly with the worlds worst tax cheat is going to bite her….and you better believe she’ll cut a deal.
I know the sources you believe will not be covering this news.

Every bit of information we get about Trump indicates worse criminality than his worst enemies ever predicted on every single front. Friday is going to be…wild.

Now that the body cam and secret service footage of the brutal terrorist MAGA attack against Pelosi has been viewed in court, and his confession, and they are all exactly what was reported by real media (not the fake news you enjoy), a break in and brutal attack against an innocent 82 year old man by a stranger, are you prepared to retract your blatantly homophobic insulting charge that it was a homosexual lover’s spat between the Senator’s husband and the typically violent nutjob MAGgot?

Of course not, you don’t care a bit about being correct, moral, or civil ever, just about being the biggest rancid douche bag possible at all times. Why is that?

Texas's new 31 billion dollar seawall to be constructed

newtboy says...

So…a state that denies climate change wants twenty billion of federal tax money (60 billion+ before its finished) to protect the tax exempt industry most responsible for climate change from the destruction is brings that they deny is real….all on taxpayer money, not a bit industry funded.

I grew up in Houston/Galveston. This is stupidity. There’s no way in hell they’ll ever stop hurricane flooding. The barriers would need to be 30 ft tall, not 5. They would also need to redirect numerous rivers that outflow through the coast, and find a way to remove unfathomable amounts of flood waters coming from land. I was there for Alicia, a relatively small hurricane in the 80’s, and all of Houston was 5 ft under water, with the bayous 40ft above their channels. That water flows into the Galveston area….behind these barriers.

This is a massive boondoggle that will never be built for dozens of reasons, but will still make numerous politicians and their families disgustingly rich, and may eventually partially protect some high value real estate, but never the entire coast. That’s today’s Texas. It bears noting, Texas is nearly $50 billion in debt with a crumbling electric grid, failing water system, no social services, and likely still $10 billion away from finishing their useless failed border fence….but plan to spend at least another $10 billion of state funds on this. How, exactly?

So, Trump now wants to terminate the constitution because his cultists weren’t allowed to break multiple laws and the terms of service and retweet Hunter Biden dick pics and revenge porn and he claims that cost Trump >7 million votes….votes he should just “get” now.
Showing his true colors as an anti democratic anti constitutionalist. Still you guy. Still you pick.

You and your disgusting ilk hate America and democracy….because Mandarin Mousolini told you to. If you want to live in a far right dictatorship, go to Russia (and get sent to fight in Ukraine). Get the fuck out of America, we don’t want your kind.

Edit: now multiple top Republican elected representatives have come out in support of this statement, and even more (every one of them that’s been asked) have publicly said they would still vote for Trump despite his anti constitution anti democracy stance and plans. The Republican Party is now a 100% anti American terrorist organization, and you are part of it.

So….Mike Pillow for RNC Chair. Endorsed by Trump.
Yes please.
Nothing could possibly end the party faster than putting a bat shit crazy crack head in the top party position and a convict as your presidential candidate with an ignorant crazy Karen as his VP.
Always running to the lowest common denominator, and in your case that’s LOW. Like pedophilic Nazi on meth low.

Wannabe Werewolf Walker saying people under 35 shouldn’t get to vote (because they aren’t voting for him), and anyone (on the left) with any complaint against America should leave and lose their citizenship (not realizing his entire campaign is about complaints he has against America) is pretty much perfectly on brand….this was in response to a question about children being bullied online.

And Elon, by removing misinformation rules and fact checkers and bringing back the crazed right wing nuts spreading misinformation and planning terrorism on Twitter, has violated Apple’s terms of service, prompting them to 1) stop advertising on Twitter (around $200 million per year) and 2) consider removing the app, meaning all apple products can’t download or update the app…essentially killing Twitter.
He tweeted that he carried the sink in to “let this sink in” when he took over, but now it’s clear it was just his intent to “sink” the company from the start. He’s personally lost $100 billion in net worth so far, and still plummeting. That’s making it harder to get funding for his other companies. Tesla is down 55% ytd. “All in” is not looking great these days. It’s always a huge risk. Can’t say you weren’t warned.

Hey, newt. I think this so often, but say it so rarely... thank you for your constant refuting of bullshit here. I often (internally) refer to you as The Sift's own attack-newt, and if you ever find yourself in Ireland I'd be honoured to get you a pint and talk shite with you for hours on end.

As you like to say over there, thank you for your service.

Judge Locks Up Parkland Shooter for Life, Throws Away Key

cloudballoon says...

How many of the victim's families care for rehabilitation? How many criminals put effort to rehabilitate more than just concerned to survive in there for another day?

So there's always a mix of both though in "Correctional Services". Different countries have different mixture of punishment v. habilitation. Guess how much the USA care for rehabilitation v punishment. Which is more profitable? It's madness, but the benefactors running the system loves locking people up.

newtboy said:

IMO, If prison is for punishment, life sentences are proper.
If prison is for rehabilitation and safety, death sentences are proper.
It’s all about what your society really wants from incarceration….not what they SAY they want.

Judge Locks Up Parkland Shooter for Life, Throws Away Key

newtboy says...

Oh no!!!

If you haven’t noticed, I’m not Bob. I decide my positions on my own, and while I’m socially liberal, that doesn’t mean I agree with the “liberal” positions at all times. I’m not insulted at my position being called “conservative”….I’m not tribalistic that way.

EG-I’m pro gun….but very pro regulation.

I’m actually a fiscal conservative, but unlike the right I know that doesn’t really mean the government should only pay for the military and nothing more. I agree with any spending that saves billions or trillions overall, even when it means some people get a free ride.
I think police are a good idea, although I believe they need serious reforms because they have lost their mission completely.
I think public roads are a good thing, as are public water and power systems.
I think national health care is a no brainer that works well in almost every country and saves trillions per year.
I think a safety net is a good idea...give people something to lose so they don’t turn to crime because they have nothing to lose.

Edit: I’ve said most of my adult life that I would be a Republican if only they would. Today’s Con has no resemblance to the Republican party I thought I grew up with (my entire family was hard core R).
Fiscal sanity, gone. Caring about the environment, gone. Supporting facts and science, gone. Supporting small government, gone (except with lip service). Strong and enforced gun regulations to protect gun ownership rights, gone. Strict supporters of law and order, not anymore. Government out of private life, so incredibly gone. Separation of church and state, gone. Fans of democracy, gone. Honesty, not even a memory.
I’m only a “blue liberal” by default. I might be libertarian if they weren’t crazed anti government extremists and almost MAGA.
Dems are the only ones left that really believe in democratic government.

I agree that 40 years+ without parole is cruel, but certainly not unusual or excessive. I never understand why excessively long prison sentences are considered less than the death penalty…I’m claustrophobic, to me it would be 40+ years of panic. I would give myself the death penalty fairly quickly because I’m not brave enough to face that. Swallow my tongue or bite it off, either works just fine and can’t be stopped. I’m really shocked that’s not the norm, but I’ve (clearly) never had to face it.

bcglorf said:

Careful @newtboy, you're sounding a bit like a conservative on this one from the Canadian POV.

A terrorist that shot 12 people in a mosque, killing 6 was sentenced under new Conservative law that allowed sentences like murder to be applied consecutively. More details in the link below, but our liberal dominated Supreme Court ruled the 40 years without a parole chance was "cruel and unusual".

So our gov. will be giving them a chance at parole in 2039.
