Zero Punctuation Review: Halo 3
That is 3:51 of awesomeness. It sounds like Marcus Brigstocke (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marcus_Brigstocke), a British satirist and comedian. I wonder if he's done anything else.
They're perfectly safe... When the front doesn't fall off
Is it cheating if the man is a satirist?
Lenny Bruce - Swear to Tell the Truth
Thanks for posting this I'd only seen parts. His mother was a remarkable woman. Sadly, some still don't understand his message, ahem...New York, cough...Texas.
Funny how Bruce was posthumously pardoned by New York Republican Governor Pataki (2003), and now 4 years later NY has banned one of the same words that originally got him convicted. New York simply doesn't get it. Pataki called his decision "a declaration of New York's commitment to upholding the First Amendment."
NY now apparently says fuck the First Amendment.
"Had (Bruce) lived, he would have become a political satirist for sure,..He would be talking about the hypocrisy going on in this country right now." - Tom Smothers
Tom Lehrer - Wernher von Braun
Tom Lehrer was/is one of the greatest satirists ever. But he stopped doing comedy because he said that satire was dead. He said comedians couldn't possibly satirize current politics because it was already so ridiculous...... He said that years before Bush and crew got into power.
Tom Lehrer - Wernher von Braun
Tom Lehrer was a maverick musical satirist, an par with any contemporary, just cleaner, sweeter.....
Chris Morris gets identified on genuine talk-show
He is Chris Morris, satirist, rather than Chris Morris the activist.

He probably supports human rights as well.
Colbert Shakes up Bill Kristol - asks questions on PNAC that mainstream media will not
Ahh, it seems Colbert has yet again blazed a trail for the rank-and-file reporters to follow. Times being what they are, it seems the role of the satirist in society has become more important -- they are the ones most effective at shouting that the emperor is naked.
