It isn't sarcasm (a form of irony) because there isn't any contempt. Definitions really help here.

Four U.S. Intelligence services bungling an investigation to the point where they're arresting/shooting each other because they're too hard-headed to share information with each other isn't ironic, it's just dumb. A terrorist suicide bomber getting the wrong address and blowing up a terrorist safe house would be ironic, because not only is it terrible terrorism, it'd still be terroristic.

I think community service at a safe house for rape victims would be the most appropriate. It would teach them how bad things can actually get, and maybe then they'd have a little respect for the accusations they made so lightly.

^ KP - That's exactly what I was thinking when I heard about this. There are rumors that he died, but who knows. General Mladic was even more loved by many Serbs than Karadic. Old war hero and all that. He's got hundreds, maybe thousands, of potential safe houses. But, yeah, for my money, the general is the guy to get.

It is interesting to think about how this came about, i.e., because the current government is determined to get Serbia into the EU. I wonder if it will set a precedent for other countries. There is some danger in that.
