Ishkur's Interactive Guide To Electronic Music (Blog Entry by dystopianfuturetoday)
Yeah I heard this back around 1997, but come on Ishkur still no Ricardo Villalobos or Richie Hawtin under Minimal techno?

This was how I fell in love with Detroit techno, I heard Jeff Mill's the bells on this and a few years later I saw Jeff Mills playing at Aria in Montreal
PS: I hardly understand or use musical labels
Plastikman - Ask Yourself (9:20)
Am so glad someone else is posting some Richie Hawtin.
Steamboat Willie - First Sound Cartoon
Goes really well with Richie Hawtin.
The Loudness War
I have been using AC-3 encodes for my Pink Floyd and Richie Hawtin records for playback over 5.1 DDs and I love it. The audio fidelity is just unmatched.
Though still even now I love to play vinyl on needles, there is nothing that replaces the warmth of sound that gives my ears.
Culture Club #1 - Essential Music (Sift Talk Post)
agree with farhad, on the difficulty, and for the most part on the groups he chose. That's why I tried to go for essentials rather than favourites... as for my desert island picks..
portishead
j.s. bach
astral projection
shpongle
richie hawtin

Culture Club #1 - Essential Music (Sift Talk Post)
If I was to be stranded these are some of the artists I would want to have on my MP3 Player.
Richie Hawtin
Pink Floyd
The Orb
Portishead
Opeth
Mum
Andres Segovia
Erik Satie
Rob The Viking
Air
However this is inherently hard for me since I love alot of music to begin with.
