Hmm, kind of a prima donna moment for Seinfeld. I think he is unhappy that the world has moved on, and realization that it was probably his peak.

It's been a couple of days now and I'm still ashamed. I'm stunned that the people, even on this site, zeroed in on his gay thing and ignored all other responses. His response to the gay issue did seem loopy prima facia, but he was speaking through an intentionally bad interpretor AND he couldn't explain his response because the asshole giving the pre-speech used up such a big chunk of his time, (which was it's intent). For those of us who really did listen and understand the rest of his rant, we saw a true intellect that was begging for peace and independence for his people.

And the Holocost thing. All he said was that people should be allowed to question how some of it happened. 6 million dead jews is a very questionable number, but people in Europe can be jailed for questioning it? Jailed?? Does that seem a bit odd to anyone?

You've seen this media demonizing so many times before and fell for it every time, WHY can't you resist? How many more times can you take a mouth full of the corporate media shit sandwich they keep feeding you? They said his approval rating was 20% in Iran, how the hell do they know?? Remember they said Chaves's rating was 20% too, just one year before he won another election in an 80% landslide.

Maybe the neocons are right. Maybe America can't function unless the sheep have a clear enemy with a name and a face, real or imagined.

P.S.
I'm personally adamantly against any government based on religious beliefs, but at least Iran isn't cutting up the genitalia of their women. In case you didn't hear, Iranian women can and do hold political positions.

While, as you might have guessed, I disagree with your assessment that there are compelling prima facie grounds on which to take these conspiracy theories seriously, I do commend your obvious desire for impartiality and even-handedness. However, be careful not to commit the fallacy (frequently seen in the media) of assuming that for any given issue, the two sides must be balanced and that the truth must lie somewhere in-between. Oftentimes, after all, one side is just plain wrong!

From my experience of that website, you're perfectly correct. There's certainly a case for saying that it's biased and it's doubtless somewhat rhetorical. However, the most important things are that it's honest and it cites proper sources throughout -- unlike conspiracy theorist resources.

I don't think he's being a prima-donna at all. For one, we have NO idea the situation preceding this little clip here. The director could have been a total douche before taping this, we don't know.

This is the problem with media today...things can be taken TOTALLY out of context. Again, we don't know. DeNiro MAY have been a total prima-donna, but again, we don't know from just seeing a 20 second clip.

Bit of a prima donna there. He does seem very non-energetic, but that's how he acts.

BTW, is he talking about the Tribeca the film festival?

I'm with you on the air pollution bit. There are many good reasons to reduce emissions, but if the sunspot theory discussed in this documentary holds up (and it is prima facie very plausible to me , at least), global warming isn't one of them.

Robin Hood was way b4 B&B. Jungle Book is probably my all time favourite - mainly for Louie Prima.

King Louie is, of course, being sung by Louis Prima ... trumpeter, composer, and downright excellent performer.

What a prima dona, also looks to have been taken directly from someone's dusty betamax tape being used as a doorstop out in the shed.

For those reasons and many more - I love it.
