Ponce is right that it was taken out of context, but I think the way that Limbaugh phrased it and especially the way he presented it on his radio show "I HOPE OBAMA FAILS!!!" he was begging for it to be presented in this fashion. I think he gets a little buzz anytime he stirs up controversy in the media. It just gives him another excuse to rail against the "drive bys."

Yeah, ponce, but I get the feeling Rush's worst nightmare would be a cheap, effective and successful national healthcare program. Ideology and 'being right' are more important to him than the well being of his country. Many Republicans fear that deep down in their hearts they are wrong.

This reminds me of an interesting conversation with a Republican friend about national healthcare. I asked her, 'Why don't we give it a try, and see if it works?' she said, "Because people would like it, and then we'd never be able to get rid of it". I had to fight the urge to facepalm.
