We have a pecking order for massages here at the Playhouse ... nothing as impressive as THIS though *kids

Hmmm ... I feed my guys 1/3 can about every eight hours [we are creatures of habit here at the Playhouse]. They are happy, healthy and fit. I also cat sit for a friend who travels from time to time. Her two free feed and are enormous! They look like cartoon cats with small heads and giant bodies. Not one iota of self regulation there by gum.

Couldn't agree more, Playhouse. Saw him live on his "Running with Scissors" tour and has been my second favorite concert so far (#1 was Yes, in-the-round).

And not only did he perform all his greats, run through multiple costume changes, but he also did two of my personal favorites: Yoda and One More Minute. Phenomenal show.

I'm sure you're all far more stunned than I am.

Who would have ever believed a drifter from the wrong side of the tracks, with a penchant for mischief and nonconformity, would someday be crowned. Only in Siftopia may the lowest-of-low rise to such majesty.

So they had a preview of this earlier in the year where the actors and director were explaining how they filmed this to be actual live singing and not just a voiceover, and how much better that would be. I was like 80% sold hearing the description, but there wasn't much of an actual example in that preview.

Basically most musicals have the actors singing the parts in a studio, and then 2 months later are playing it out and just mouthing out the words to a pre-recorded track. This is NOT that. This is the actors singing live as they are acting. It's very much still a movie, but the singing is not a voiceover track...

This is stunning. I'm not one for musicals but I think I'll find a way to see this. It has all the good elements of a theatrical play with the narrative scope of a movie. I'm not saying it'll replace the intimacy of a playhouse theatre, but this is impressive work.
