They should try to get a few more product placements in there.

Seems odd that the pepsi is easy to recognize as a pepsi product, but the beers have had the labels removed and the wine is turned away so not to recognize. Possibly some kind of viral? Can anyone think of why they would remove the beer labels but not the pepsi label?

We've all seen this a million times..., now with a twist..., and it's got you thinking about Nutella. Pretty much why the labels are shown so clearly as well.

My experience with some tech in inboard audio assist is the damn program being the one with the speech impediments, not just in response to user input, but invariably the weak link is in the the recognition of the systems crap software. This coming from someone who speaks clearly and articulately towards the above-average. Still too many bugs in most cheap systems. Most of the weaknesses lie I am guessing, in poor, unmatched microphones and user placement of head while speaking.

Wouldn't it actually be easier if he maintained exactly 8.65mph (ideally) in the run-up? If he's going any faster, then he'd just be fighting his own linear momentum as soon as the incline started, being that he's not a rolling wheel or ball and instead relies on stationary foot placement and pushing to move. On the other hand, once the direction starts changing you'd have to pump really hard to maintain speed.

I would also imagine he needs to engage his core muscles to keep from folding forward; my understanding is that there would be a significant "outward" force generated, which in this case keeps him on the track, but does so by pushing him against it.

Considering that railing/bar is there to guide the various lines over the cabin to avoid snags, the camera placement was more than a bit "fail"...

I get the idea that people want their friends on the same system, so they can play with/against one another. But the degree all sides get worked up is just odd. It's one of those cases of can't we just agree to disagree, but all sides get nearly evangelical.

My take... I prefer the 360 controller to the PS3 controller. I like the weight, the button and stick placements... just the whole feel is better, for me, at least for most games. Some 3rd person games benifit from the PS3 layout a bit better, but for shooters and platformers I think the 360 layout is better. Most of the exclusive titles next Gen are leaning me to the One, but most are cross platform, so that has little influence. For the current generation, I found the PS3 to be a far superior media machine, beyond the Blu-ray support, I think it does Netflix better (even discounting the poor UI the XBox had prior to the upcoming unified interface), which might be an issue with my router and it working better with the PS3 than the XBox, but even for connecting to my Windows PC and PlayOn (a program on my PC that allows me to use Hulu on the TV without Hulu Plus, and allows me to play more media types from my PC on the TV), it was better. However, the multiplayer on XBox seemed better, despite the fee... which gets me to a rub against the One, I wish Microsoft would remove the Gold requirement to access video services like Netflix, YouTube and the like. Leave the Gold requirement for multiplayer gaming, but video services should be broke off.

That said, most of my gaming is PC side... though for a game like Battlefield 4 or Titanfall I prefer a console... do in part to my lower end PC... yeah, the graphics on those games would look better (if my PC was a bit more modern), but I don't know, something about those style games makes me like the experience on the console better... same with Assassins Creed 4... actually, many console type games... but Steam and I love one another...

I disagree 100%, this was one of the BEST product placements ever in a video game! You're just not getting the subtle humor. To me, it was very obvious. First, take note of the fact that they were inarguably wanting to make this game feel a bit like a television series. This is made most evident by the way they ended and began each episode (not to mention the fact that they called them "episodes" to begin with), but also by the cinematics in battle, the independent camera controls that let you see what was behind Wake as he was running forward, the narration, the fact that all the manuscripts had to appear on screen with the author's voice reading it aloud- erm, I think I made my point there.

So what would a television series do, naturally, at a moment like this? Why, GO TO A COMMERCIAL BREAK, OF COURSE! That's why this TV was in the break room. Commercials? Break room? You get it now?

However, I wouldn't even agree that this did any noteworthy damage to the tension. Because, arguably, the most "scary" part was over. At this point, all you had to do was get by that chandelier ball thingy and you're outside with Barry Wheeler, comic relief! I thought it was brilliant.

I'm not sure she really means this. If it's not her actual opinion (I reckon it isn't) it's basically just viral advertising for the programme. The media do this constantly. Remember that Samantha Brick woman who whipped up a storm last year by writing a column in the Mail about how all other women hated her because she was beautiful? She was a troll, and the Mail's website benefited from all the increased banner ad viewings. This is just the same: making controversy for the sake of pageviews, advert clickthroughs and logo placement. The watercooler effect.

Obviously she was paid to give a product placement for the NSA. Doubt that she worked there. Government has a relationship with entertainment media to emphasize what the government wants.
