Cowardly liar Trump is complaining he couldn’t use an “advice of council” defense, hoping you and your ilk are dumb enough to not know it was 100% his choice.
He didn’t use it because 1) it removes any attorney client privilege and makes their correspondence public (outing him for a few dozen more crimes as yet uncharged) and 2) Trump would have to take the stand himself (again, opening himself up to dozens more charges as he admits serious felonies under oath, the moron).
His defense is still “it was a legal fee he paid as a legal expense” ignoring the mountains of evidence, most signed by Trump personally, much of it provided by Trump under oath that prove beyond any sliver of a shadow of doubt exactly what they did to illegally hide this campaign expense as “legal fees”, exactly why they did it, and that they (including Don) knew full well it was illegal and unethical when they were doing it and went to great lengths and expense to not be caught, but were anyway.

He had to sell his plane to pay his legal bills. 😂

Eric said on the courthouse steps…”I cannot wait for the day that we win. We will…WE’RE WHITE!” Tell me again how the Trump’s aren’t racists.

Once again, virile DonJohn couldn’t stay awake in court EVEN DURING JURY INSTRUCTIONS…arguably the most important part of the trial and his last chance to make an impression on the jury…the impression he gave, pure distain and disrespect for the law. The choice to stay up high on speed all night rage tweeting was a poor decision. I would have said he “ran out of gas” but all reports are he has a massive gas surplus and is venting excess gas constantly. 😂

He is now tweeting that he doesn’t even know what the charges against him are…after how many weeks in court having them explained and dissected? His feeble brain has failed. He’s going to die his first year in prison, he’s already in a final decline.

The defense closing was so bad that the judge had to tell the jury to disregard much of it, in parts he admitted to Trump’s guilt, and was so disjointed and weird that it was impossibly difficult to follow, that’s coming from someone who completely understood inception and Tenet on the first viewings (they weren’t complicated, they just weren’t well thought out). Surprise, he violated the law so badly that it may be enough to give the DA an appeal and bring the case again in the impossible event don is acquitted.

Outside closing arguments DonJohn admitted defeat by saying “even mother Theresa couldn’t beat these charges” because he knows he has zero chance of acquittal. He better hope a maggot lied to be on the jury, a jury deadlock is his only possible saving grace, acquittal is not possible.
If one did, they damn well better get doxed fast….and their family.

PS- He’s also saying now that he intends to deport any citizen that annoys him, stripping them of their citizenship, specifically he mentioned anyone who protests legally (unless they’re Jan 6 maga terrorists) but make no mistake he means ANYONE who doesn’t properly cow tow. Tell me again how he loves the constitution….

PS- reminder, Trump this week campaigned with two violent gang members (alleged to be Crip leaders) out on bail and under a 140 count indictment for murders, lest you convince yourself for one second that you aren’t in a violent criminal cult.
In stark contrast, Biden has never campaigned with a mass murderer or active gang leader.
PPS- Misogynist and spouse abuser and philanderer and abortion pusher Minnesota Republican US Senate maga candidate Royce White was just busted for spending donor money on an all-nude strip club, new clothes, expensive hotels, limos, and other illegal expenses…look it up. Not his first attempt either, there are over $100k in unexplained personal expenditures and cash withdrawals from his campaign contributions, many made AFTER he lost his primary. He’s more total human garbage on every level, typical criminal maga.
PPPS- Maga policies just forced a 12 year old rape victim in Louisiana to have her child, ruining both their lives before she’s out of middle school.

BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE | Official Teaser Trailer

Reefie says...

If the best (and only) line featured in the teaser is "The juice is loose" then I fear you may be right... Talking of which, the new Ghostbusters movie released in the UK today, I wonder if I'm going to be disappointed by my cinema outing this weekend? At least they've got most of the original gang back, hopefully trigger some nostalgia highs!

Um…long awaited sequel? Who was actually waiting for this?
There’s potential here, but I fear it’s another memberberry cash grab, washing every last cent possible out of everything that was good from my childhood leaving empty husks that once were fond memories. Fingers crossed I’m wrong.

Keep your “I can see absolutely no racism besides reverse racism” dishonest idiocy to yourself.

Almost every killing was Boogaloo boys committing racially motivated false flag operations, but the morons are so stupid they carried their manifesto with them when committing terrorist acts, outing the false flag operation the first time one got caught. Morons.

Well over half the burning and looting was found to be non BLM related,(and many if not most that were attributed to BLM were abandoned buildings). The true terrorists of 2020 were Trump’s Proud and boogaloo boys caught repeatedly causing mayhem to blame on BLM, shooting into crowds, starting fires, planting bombs, breaking into stores, shooting cops, etc. You know this well, you bold faced liar. You pretend you don’t know it because then you think you can get away with being a racist tool and blaming black people for everything, IMO, but we all know you know it.

Many were caught, prosecuted, and convicted (those they didn’t shoot to death in the process of being bomb planting cop shooting fake BLM terrorists that is) and the damage done was 1/10 what the idiot truckers cost.
The people with those truckers are many of the same people….with the same mindset.

Blacks protesting being shot=Thugs.
Whites protesting getting a shot=Freedom fighters.

Not everything is racist, but right wing terrorists waiving confederate and Nazi flags are. White supremacists who commit false flag terrorism to try to blame on black people and their anti-racist-murder-at-police-hands protests are racists.
The people standing with and behind them are racists….tell me the company you keep and I will tell you what you are.-S.P.
People who intentionally hide those facts and knowingly lie to blame the known racist false flag operations on BLM are racists….looking directly at you.

You support the side of racist white supremacists, racist nazis, and racist policy EVERY SINGLE TIME….but suddenly get the vapors and declare your innocence whenever it’s pointed out.

Edit: And let’s not lose sight of the issues, BLM protested blacks being murdered by police regularly with no recourse at all, absolutely none. Truckers are protesting not getting the privilege of getting to choose to travel internationally without the minor inconvenience of being vaccinated against a raging pandemic. I know, you think the latter far more important than the former, thereby excusing that the truckers have cost more, done more damage to local businesses and home owners, and, by being super spreaders, have killed more people.

BLM were burning looting killing These truckers and fucking nuns compared to BLM.

Keep your foolish everything is racist shit to yourself.

Bernie Sanders: I thought this question might come up

newtboy says...

I like Bernie, but his answer to "how do we pay for your plans?" seems to always be "We tax the rich more." That seems naive imo.
I agree, the extremely rich should pay way more, but I don't think it's reasonable to say that higher tax rates for the top 5% can pay to revamp our entire society. We are too deep in debt, and too shallow in our commitments towards the public, whether those commitments come in the form of investments in education, health, infrastructure, the legal system, prison reforms, ecology, climate change, .....the list of things we put on the back burner and ignore is long and fraught with perils far more pressing than, let's say a fence, or golf outings, trade wars, or another aircraft carrier.

As to the Castro ridiculousness, get a grip people. I can give you an example of something Hitler did that everyone, including holocaust survivors, can agree was a great thing he did.....he killed Hitler. If your ideological blinders and hatred are so thick you can't admit bad people/systems might also do some good things sometimes, you have a serious problem accepting reality and you need therapy.

How Nestle Makes Billions Bottling Free Water

Mystic95Z says...

Yep, while there are times for having bottled water like being on an outing or something, when I'm at home the water thats filtered and comes out of my fridge ice cold is more than fine.

But yeah Nestle should PAY for all water pumped just like every household that uses water does. This is just corporate welfare at its finest.

Payback said:

The problem isnt Nestle making money off free water. The problem is lazy shits providing them with a market for it.

Kid Physically Threatens Teacher For Not Rounding His Grade

newtboy says...

Can we assume this kid is expelled permanently? Not from this class, not from this school, but from all normal public school?

If not, and this is accepted behavior in school today, I change my mind on arming teachers and I give each one one free shot per year. That teacher's restraint was legendary.

If his parents haven't publicly apologized, they deserve public outing and humiliation. He learned that behavior, likely at home, and if they don't forcefully denounce it, they're encouraging it.

John Cleese On Trump's Base

SaNdMaN says...

I just love how Trump is taking credit for Obama’s economy, and idiots at falling for it.

Dude can literally call out Obama for his relatively infrequent golf outings, and say that he would never golf.... and then he goes ahead and spends more time than any other president golfing, and these idiots are still like “well uhh he’s working while golfing...” Jesus fucking Christ, have some dignity and self respect. You’re being used for the morons you are.

Btw, still waiting on this lying sack of shit to show us his findings from his Obama birth investigation in Hawaii and his tax returns that he promised to release after he’d get elected.

For years this show has been calling out Kevin Spacey

Debbie Wasserman Schultz Resigns, Sanders Fans React

heropsycho says...

You have ZERO proof she was hired quid pro quo. Absolutely zero. Do you honestly think Clinton would risk any bad optics whatsoever if she thought DWS wouldn't help her win? That was the Rodman analogy. Clinton hired her to help win the election, not to regulate elections to be fair.

And even Sanders supporters said the nomination wasn't stolen. He lost. He lost mainly because he didn't appeal enough to minority voters. You have to take a massive leap of cynicism to make that claim.

You're making it sound like Clinton hired Alan Grayson. That's my point.

Then you magically transfer DWS's guilt directly to Clinton. Did Clinton do that, or did DWS? I'm pretty sure it was DWS. I hated George W. Bush as president. That didn't make me magically transfer guilt about the Valerie Plame incident directly to him because there's no evidence he was responsible for outing her as a CIA operative.

And again, you're also talking about the leader of the Democratic Party favoring a lifelong Democrat over a dude who just decided to join for a Presidential run. When I think of a candidate who is personally corrupt, I think of Nixon. He broke a law. Clinton didn't break any laws whatsoever. NONE! She didn't even do anything. DWS didn't break any laws for that matter. She shouldn't have done what she did, but good lord, you're blowing this way out of proportion.

How exactly am I helping Trump win? Because I'm gonna vote for Clinton over Trump, Stein, and Johnson?! You're gonna have to explain to me how I should help Trump lose. Do I vote for Trump?! Do I vote for some other candidate who has absolutely zero chance of winning?

And all evidence does not argue against Clinton being the most qualified candidate out of the remaining candidates. She is BY FAR the most experienced candidate in government. You can sit there and rail about the hiring of DWS to help campaign all you want, but there is no possible way you can possibly make the claim that she isn't the most experienced out of the remaining candidates. She was the most experienced candidate among all primary candidates, too. That's an undeniable fact. All evidence at the very least doesn't say she isn't the most qualified. None of the 2016 primary candidates came remotely close to her experience in foreign policy. None of them came close to her experience in domestic policy.

This isn't to say experience is everything. But you're making a very flimsy argument about her being personally corrupt, and then claiming the ridiculous assertion that all evidence says she's not the most qualified candidate, even though she's clearly the most experienced.

And yes, we don't know how good or bad a President she would be. You also can't know if a specific Honda Accord will be more reliable than a specific Chevy Corvette either. That doesn't stop me from buying the Honda Accord without batting an eye if I want the most reliable car.

Only in this case, it's more like a Honda Accord vs. a lit on fire dumpster on wheels.

newtboy said:

That's why I said IF they go along with any stupid thing HE does....also....I was clearly talking about Republicans, who are much better at being united and playing follow the leader.

Because she hired Shultz as quid quo pro for clearly "cheating" (flagrantly being biased, contrary to the conditions of the job and repeated statements to the contrary) to steal the nomination for Clinton, she's corrupt. Beyond that, you've gone into ridiculousness with your basketball analogy. There aren't ethics rules in basketball, or a duty to serve your fans ethically, or a duty to be nice to your opponent, or a way to fight over a ruling that he fouled another player....and there's instant redress for a foul.
This is just one more instance, the latest in a never ending string, showing her contempt for the rules and laws, and showing that she rewards breaking the rules if done for her benefit. That's reason for disqualification in my eyes.
You are welcome to your opinion. I strongly disagree, and your insistence that she's the best candidate, contrary to all evidence and strong public opinion, is why Trump will win. Thanks a bunch.

We wouldn't know if Bush was worse than Clinton until after her presidency. I contend you can't have a whit of an idea how she would operate, as her positions change with the wind and she'll do whatever suits her on the day she makes a decision, not the right thing, not what she said she would do yesterday.

Songify the News #5 - Bang The President

CNBC Host Accidentally Outs Apple CEO Tim Cook as Gay

shveddy says...

Wait. So the guy who may or may not have actually reached out to Tim Cook personally about his sexual orientation simply (and correctly) refused to discuss any actual names, but some random talking head with no special knowledge about Tim Cook's sexual orientation claimed he was gay, and that is supposed to constitute an outing?

The title should read: "CNBC host behaves unprofessionally and spreads unconfirmed rumors." Saying that he outed Tim Cook implies that the CNBC host had some special knowledge confirming that the rumors are true, and at this point we just don't know.

The real issue here is that some guy wrote a column about gay CEOs and consistently ran into the fact that very few of them are willing to be named.

This is speculation here, but my guess is that if you've managed to become the CEO of a fortune 500 company, then on a personal level you are probably confident enough and socially stable enough to come out of the closet.

The real reason these gay CEOs (whoever they may be) aren't coming out of the closet is very likely just because the act of a CEO coming out is perceived to negatively affect share prices. I don't know whether this is just an assumption made personally by these CEOs or if the board of directors at their company actively made it clear to them that it would be a bad move, but this phenomenon is the real story and we shouldn't let all of this viral nonsense about Tim Cook being "outed" distract us from fixing it.

Glasterpiece Theater: "I wanna get this white trash on tape"

newtboy says...

Every once in a while someone actually gets what they deserve.
I feel like if the glasses were broken it would have been appropriate, and it's great that now many businesses won't allow google glasses in the business to avoid exactly this kind of bitch instigating trouble. I only wish her personal info from her phone was made public, so other outrageous people could come to her place of business and record her.
Too funny that she is now outing herself as the obvious instigator, while still playing the victim. No wonder there's no prosecution coming...she really seemed to be asking for it.

Yes, and loved it I went with my wife on a rare child-free outing.

It was a bit odd that they played down the fact that Lauda and Hunt were actually friends, and shared a flat at one point. I'm also deeply suspicious of the film's version of the crash, since footage appeared to show a car which was working perfectly and which oversteered only due to a small driver error. Minor quibbles though, and a hugely entertaining film.

Rebecca Vitsmun, The Oklahoma Atheist, Tells Her Story

sanderbos says...

(disclaimer: atheist)

The whole video makes me sad:
- That CNN did this drive-by-outing, putting this woman's life in more turmoil than literally (correct use for once) a tornado ever could. Yeah, she says she is happy it happened but still.
- That she speaks of coming outing as atheist without seemingly any irony.
- Also: That despite her involvement with these secular organizations and doug stanhope's tip, her descriptions show that when it comes to helping other people religious groups have got it together and us non-believers are mostly just talk :-(

Republican Amash Argues with AIPAC Democrat on NSA Spying

newtboy says...

It's so sad that this woman and her ilk are either completely lying about what this program does or they completely misunderstands what they're supporting. They now admit the NSA shares this (an d other) info with other agencies (while explicitly telling them to lie about where they got the info, if it ever comes out they have it in the first place), they also admit they keep all data including content of email and texts, and probably even phone calls indefinitely and do not require a warrant to use this information for investigation, and when they DO think they need one they go to FISA and get a rubber stamp one, never once being denied a warrant when they ask.
it came out recently that every email and text may be collected as the rules allow collection even if the 'data' they contain is exclusionary data, as in not what they're looking for (today).
The programs HAVE been abused. What needs to happen is an agent like Snowden needs to use his authority to collect the content of congress' and the white house's emails and texts and make them public in total, they have now fu*ked any claim of 'secrecy' or 'national security' because they know of this program and so they know any thing they write electronically is NOT secret and THEY just made it public by emailing it. Sadly, after Snowden's treatment, I doubt anyone else is going to be willing to give up their life and safety to force this issue.
I wish I could send Snowden $5 to thank him for reminding the public about these programs and publicly outing the lies they continue to spout while making the 'truth' a national secret that can't be disussed without committing 'treason'.
I won't be voting for a single incumbent.
