I, for one, hope the new owners at least lose their franchises. If not, and they manage to reopen with $4 an hour wages, I hope the unskilled employees accidentally start grease fires day one and burn down all 4 before insurance coverage kicks in.

By supporting Trump, you've lost the ability to blame this on liberalism. When your chosen leader exemplifies this behavior daily, you support it, no matter what you say. Before "conservatives" lost their minds, civility, and morals you could try to make that argument (but still not in this case), but definitely not now.

That said, it's definitely a problem if a child can assault it's teacher and not be removed, no matter what age they are, and no matter what party set up the system, but it's infantile and ignorant to try to put this case on liberals, try owning it.

my Niece does this and I got a chance to see here perform this summer; it's pretty amazing and a bit surreal; I think it's a bigger deal in the more southern states although there was a Team from California and her Team was based out of Ohio

AFAIK, New Jersey doesn't have a "Stop and Identify" law, so this was a Terry stop no-no (Terry v. Ohio). She was under no obligation to answer their questions. As long as she provided her license, registration and proof of insurance, it looked like they had no reasonable basis for the arrest. I'd guess those cops were "rookies" since, as reported, they only had a year-and-change of experience on the force. Supervisor was right to let her go and release her car from impound, but I don't think she'll get any kind of monetary settlement from her suit.
